  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Survivors: other knives you like

Not to get too far afield in this thread, but I find BRKT's handles to be slippery.
Their kitchen knives are okay (they generally have better contours) but I'd prefer better texture on their field knives.
I think they prefer a good looking handle to a good performing handle.

I'll just throw a few up here, these are sorta glamour shots, I have piles of users too.

Nice!!!

I got to handle one of those Grudges the other day. Super good feeling knife. Is that 6.5 Grendel rounds pictured with it?

I haven't shot in many years, but 6.5x284 and .300 whisper in the top two?

Lol, you're reading my mail bud :)

Hey guys, you all know your guns, you were super close.

Technically a 300 Blackout (though only nominally different than the 300 whisper) with the Busse Urban Grudge LE

The top photo with the Bailey custom san mai damascus is a 6.5 Creedmoor.

Now for the win and a real nerd challenge, if you can identify the black rock in the top pic, which my son found on one of our hikes, you get the gold star. It is worth substantially more than all the knives in all my photos put together...

Peter Kohler only did one knife with Bark River and that was the Grizzly. The 1911, Honey Badger and Kodiak are his Mid-Tech line and those knives have nothing to do with Bark River.

Thats good to know.

I had a bunch of Barkies. Sold them all (I just like other stuff better). Theres a few things I dont like about Bark River. First let me say they do make very functional blades and they are pretty high quality. Second I dont like to talk trash about other companies. Its just bad form. Third, Ambush Knives.

Mach 5! Those gunfighter bowies are sick! You have good taste in knives!
