The sword forum is in a sad state for sure. No stickies, no massive sword thread, nothing. There are likely 400+ threads on EDC, folding, fixed, autos, shiros, crk, purple, blue, bronze, cheese, traditional, new, old, busted and the like, but no swords? Unthinkable.

Post swords. If you're in a great state like Texas or my own Tennessee and have no blade laws, this can even be an EDC sword thread.

Zombie Tools Reaper, version 2 or 3 i believe. Big, ridiculous, bad to the bone, and near unbreakable by conventional means.

A repost pic, but all I have at the moment.
That's a fine 1796 and modern cutter (AR horseman's).

I got to be too top heavy & old :D Recovering from a stroke 3 years ago, I moved some of my swords from storage and I've still not done an inventory. One thing or another. 30 years ago, I was lusting for Japanese swords and lost track for awhile. I ended up going medieval in interests but really got drawn to period swords.

Sorting a bit before stacking in closets with others.

My friends and I used to gather for cutting parties and an annual display at a sportsman's club. The group effort there ended and I only set up a couple of times on my own. My own health issues have sidelined dancing with swords. I still cuddle them :) Most of the threads I began in this subforum will have images. Too many for one thread,

Here's a nice mixed grille from 2015

So, it only likes 20 at a time, so the above is the first 15. Here's another dozen

I've realized that these first two posts are only a highlight of ten (of 35) pages I uploaded to imgur and I'll break it up in a couple of more posts, From the 17th century to this decade. The last reproduction, a smallsword replicating a French 1757.

More to come later and I'll post an event shot from 2003 to 2019. I did a couple on my own but it became too much for me. I scaled that way back I 2019

So, there are some highlights. I don't have a lot of the event stuff on imgur but there are a few in this thread.

Cheers

The Sleepy Hollow sword, my one fantasy sword.
Legendary collection my friend. I look forward to seeing more. I topped out at about 15 total swords before selling, buying, and selling some more, but im back on the path this year. Mostly medieval, Viking, etc with some fantasy sprinkled in. Started with a wall hanger "knight" sword back in 2012 when I was 17, straight from the Renaissance fair.

This was my last sword acquisition.

Some knives since but this was the last sword in.

This is a fun little hanger, and a followup

Love seeing that type of stuff. I dont go to enough flea markets these days to find these types of things but one can hope. I grabbed this the other day, gonna be 2 months Screenshot_20260406_151005_Chrome.jpgbefore its here though

The Kingston stuff had a lot of ATrim and Tinker Pierce influences.

Some of the 2022 swords I thought would be the last.

Loony for spadroons In browsing, I was using OPERA back before about 2016, so threads before then may have missing images.

Very cool looking. Nothing wrong with good looking wallhangers.
