My bank thought they double charged me and blocked it.

The Busse crew automatically tried again a couple hours later with no issue. I didn't have to email or anything. Becky and the rest of the crew behind the scenes are pretty quick to fix issues it seems.

Who knows though. They might not have meant to do that. If it hasn't already resolved itself you might try to email becky@bussecombat.com or you could call (419) 923-6471

She an absolute pleasure to talk to, and can fix any issue that could arise on the order end. I'm positive

Debating extremely hard on buying a Dawson Aurelius sword https://www.dawsonknives.com/products/aurelius-specter or their Praetorian sword https://www.dawsonknives.com/products/16-cpm-3v-praetorian-arizona-copper-finish-1 ... actually it's more like trying to talk myself out of putting down $1300+ on these monsters.. they're also Gladius' (I reaaaallllyy don't need 3 gladius' 😂) but it's in Magnacut... actually not hype with a good HT in small stuff.

I don't have anything over 5.5" in that stuff though. I was wanting to see how big boy knives/swords act in it. I haven't dived deep enough into the metallurgy of the stuff yet to make any kind of definitive decision on the subject.

I honestly don't know how well SR101 competes with this new steel. I mean.. it wouldn't replace the 2 of these I already have on the way or anything.. just to have it around to cut random bullshit like jugs, rolls, limbs, and rounds.. stuff like that. The norm

Sounds fun to test new steels in different applications but I could also do all this stuff with Jerry's blades too and try to forget the whole existenceof these things. Just not sure if the curiosity is worth that price tag.. I don't even know if it would chip.. say I swing it at a round and hit a rock or something.. not sure what would happen.. theres almost zero information on Magnacut in big fixed blades anywhere I've seen other than what you see on ksn website and maybe the https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/primer-grey-nightmare-chopper-in-cpm-magnacut.1774329/ thread. I've heard of people getting some of the higher RC Magnacut (over RC64 iirc) to chip (barely but still did it).

I need to hire someone level headed to stand behind me when I'm online and just slap my hand on some "BAD! NO!" type stuff haha.. it's in the checkout stage.. someone save me from myself 🤣

Anyone have ANY experience at all in Magnacut blades over 10"

Carothers talked about Magnacut in larger blades and the decided to stick with 3V. Can't remember what thread it was in.

I have 2 Spyderco Mules in Magnacut and it's a great steel. Not sure how it would do in large blades.

I decided against it. I almost forgot I need to pay someone for something they're holding for me anywho. Commitments must be comittered and such.

I'm still interested in information on it in stuff over say the 9" threshold.. ya know... choppy bois. I would jump immediately on that if I had the scratch on hand. Sounds 👌

CPK is amazingly a company I've yet to hold. I am going to jump on a couple soon though. If they offered one of these mentioned I'd bite.
