Tacticlol Knives II: The Return of Ridiculous

In fairness any strider or busse beats most of these. Yep i said it.....ready for the hammering of those who cant accept the truth.;)

I was joking with my brother the other day about the whole "Tactikull / Zombee" trends.

I told him I want to order a bunch of Pizza Knives, put "zombie green" scales on them, fake blood splattered blades and sell them for $100....we'd make a killing, I'm sure - but at the cost or perpetuating the ridiculous trend(s).

Here's a quick photoshop example of what I thinking (this is an 18" Pizza Knife that sells for about $20):

We'd probably have to add a ton over the top serrations, pointless jimping, brass knuckles, and maybe a rocket launcher too.

Just one more bio hazard symbol and you could command 49.99 for that.
Of course you'd want a hompage tying into the whole theme to rack up the price to 69.97.
Jimping and videos you'd be probably at $129.85

Add a tactical window breaker and claim it's what seals will fight with and you just paid your electric bill for the month

I just thought of a knife that I had that would fit the bill.
I don't have it anymore, but it was the Gerber Kiowa ( named after the helicopter )
I got it as a gift last year, but it wasn't my style so I gave it to my dad who needed a new work edc ( it wasn't a horrible knife for the 10$ that the knife flashlight gift set costed my brother )
But he lost it.
It was a pretty ridiculous partially serrated humpbacked tango with finger grooves.

Typical of all plains Indian people the Kiowa were a warrior people that fought frequently with enemies both neighboring and far beyond their territory.

The Kiowa were notable even among plains Indians for their long distance raids, including raids far south into Mexico and north onto the northern plains.

Danke,
Don't try to confuse this thread with the facts!:D

See also: POGs and FOBbits. I mean, the whole title of the knife, "Special Warriors Operations Group." ... Sounds like... well I don't want to say retarded but...

...don't forget pongos, lol. and I sooooo agree! to grab "credibility" so many companies put that stuff in their advertising that it literally makes me sick. When I first joined in '99, I fell into thinking that these advertisements had merit as these guys obviously know what they're talking about since it says "designed by (...insert military/government agency here) and these guys must know what they're talking about right? seeing just how little 90% of military guys know about knives, I'd be way more willing to trust a knife backed by someone with survival/bushcraft experience over military any day... too bad too, I originally thought I might use my experience to market my knives with cool slogans and barbed wire advertising :(.

p.s. DCP, I spent 9 years in the infantry and the last 8 in spec ops... but it's Canadian, so there aren't any cool movies about them, lol.

p.p.s. anything by "Dark Ops" is pretty much tacticlol from what I can tell... I bring it up, since they were the ones that first sucked me in to their ads.

That thing must be a Dream to sharpen!

A nightmare still IS a dream, right?

Look how wavy that bevel is... Fantastic!
If this guy is commanding this for his knives, I am at a loss for words.
Mostly due to the increase that is about to happen on our custom market since all the knives are about to jump $300 higher...

Feast your eyes on this gem; all yours for $500.00 USD...:foot:

Oh the crapsmanship. ;):rolleyes::foot::thumbup:

Maybe he finally decided to actually make a custom knife- this is the result. Years of writing your name on factory knives doesn't prepare one for having to grind things.

I want to call it "The Nugget"

I knew I could count on you gents for some excellent comments, rolling here now thanks.:thumbup::thumbup::D

More to wow the senses; these "nuggets" ;) appear to have slightly better F&F; not excusing the ridiculousness of them at all though... :stupid:
