Tacticlol Knives II: The Return of Ridiculous

Where did you think he got his inspiration from?;)
I kinda like that top one! I feel as if when in ninjering around and someone is trying to jack me for my ninjering climbing claws with their Conan the barbarian sword I would whip our that top one, trap the Conan sword and break it in two with the ninjering skillz.

Hopefully people will realize that their knife isn't necessarily junk because it's overly tacticool-ish, and that everything will be disliked by some.
If they make fun of a knife for its looks or style they're just never gonna like it and we need to except it.
If that can happen then this thread will survive.

You seen one of these threads before in the three months you've been here?

Sosa,
These weapons do/have existed in Northern India where the Origins of Kung Fu originated.
That's what they claim. However given the flexible nature of that steel these wobbly swords couldn't have been made before the 16th century, long after Shaolin Martial arts took off in 500-600 CE.

Also was it North or South India? As I've seen it Kalaripayat uses these flexible blades and that would be South India. Maybe the Sikh, more in the North adopted the same style of weapon?

Kalaripayat existed before the Shaolin Martial arts. But of course China and every other country had their own martial arts at any point in time.

It seems Shoalin martial arts in particular were developed in China and influenced in aspects like meditation and yogic exercises by an Indian monk. As far as I know there's was no cross over in fighting techniques or weapons at that time.

Removal blade, non-folding "fixed" blade...

I've always wanted an axe with a lanyard tied directly from the axe head to my wrist; safety first folks.

Jens,
History is constantly being rewritten on how long ago something was first invented or shared.

There was more crossover, trade & travel in the past than we like to think possible. I think it would be hard to say exactly, not possible by any given date?

By the way, I would pass on using something like those whip swords myself.;)

That is an excellent choice because its picture illustrates a couple things that many people remain unaware of:

1) If you are holding a ridiculous tactinonsense knife to take a picture of it, you must hold it that way....point towards the inside of your elbow. I don't why people aren't doing that, they must have not read the memo; and

2) If your hold a knife that way and take a picture of it, it and you become ridiculous and tacticool. Sorry, but it is the rules.

I'd offer up the Microtech Storm Trooper/Sith Lord Star Wars-Themed Ultratechs,

but they are way too nerdy to be tacticlol.
