WValtakis needs his own thread. Something like. “More patience than anyone else”. “More artistic than anyone”. Steadier hands than anyone. Etc.

You can email me at haleronnie@hotmail.comI really dig your work with the Old Hickory knives. I’m a big fan of the blade and how it performs (easy to hone, flexible, thin, and tough).
Do you have a business contact?
Thank you. I've been in the outdoors over 40 years. When profiled right and the proper edge put on these knives, I've not found a better skinner for deer and hogs. I went from $200.00 M390 and 20CV fixed blades and folders to $20.00 Old Hickory's. I like to mod them for myself, friends, family, and to sell every now and then to support my hobby knife shop. Most "hunting" knives are made too thick these days. The thin stock on the Ontario OH makes it a great slicer and skinner.I really dig your work with the Old Hickory knives. Finally had time to finish "carving" the first scale...one more to go.

That looks great!
I haven't been able to find anything helpful. Could you perhaps reply with the title of the video you're referring too, or PM a link? Most likely acid quench method. I saw a vid online and tried it myself. My pattern is not as detailed, but happy with it.
