The 1st cut is the deepest. Do you still own your 1st CRK?

That's a very nice looking unique graphic kidcongo!

My first was a cocobolo Mnandi. Great design and beautiful knife but just a little to small for my tastes. Traded it for my second CRK, a small plain jane Insingo. Suites my tastes.

My first is still clipped in my pocket everyday for the past 15+ years...

Not only do I own my first lg reg seb, I also have a BNIB never used LG REG SEB from 1997 that I purchased at the same time

I got some disappointing news about my sebenza today. They said the wanted to reheat treat the lock bar which meant they will end up re blasting the slabs. I gave em the go ahead, but I'm bummed that the ti is going to lose the years worth of "love marks". On the other hand, I am very happy they brought it up and are addressing it now instead of me having to wait until it becomes a problem and have to ship it out again. That's what I call good customer service!
I can't wait to get it back in my pocket.

I just purchased my first CRK this last year, a small plain Jane 21. Never knew anything about CRKs before but after joining the forum and buying and selling some others I began reading about these knives. Had to have one. Another small 21 with the Insingo blade followed. This is a TNK version with all silver hardware. Love it. Then saw a small regular 21 with a carbon fiber scale. This is the knife art exclusive. Crap. Had to have it. That one took over my pocket. Then I saw a smoking deal on an Umnumzaan. The CRK virus is alive and well. Had to get it. So I'm completely torn because I should probably sell the 1st two to pay for the last two. I could probably live without the pj 21, but the Insingo is just so nice with the silver hardware. Not sure what I'm gonna do. I trade right now between the Umnumzaan and the CF 21.

So it remains to be seen if I'll keep my 1st CRK or not. Perhaps I should start a "help me keep my first Sebenza" foundation. Here are the latest ones.

If you get rid of your PJ Sebenza, you will have days when you look at your more fancy versions and long for that pure Sebenza essense, that can only be found in the spear-point plain 21s. Not saying "don't do it", just saying "be prepared to buy it back someday". ;)

No, I don't still own my first CRK. My first CRK was a Large BG-42, that I bought in Solvang, CA.

I still have mine, and I revived the thread about it earlier this week. Don't carry it anymore because I am trying to limit wear on it since CRK doesn't work on them anymore.

I let my first go not long after picking it up. It was an online purchase and didnt sing to me once I got it in hand. There is one that I regret letting go, the first one I'd purchased from a store. Sk8N has it now and looks to be taking good care of it, so at least I get to check and see how it's doing :)

No, I don't still have my Sebenza. It was a large regular, with BG-42. I bought it at Nordic Knives in Solvang, CA., in the early '90's.

Still have my L21 Micarta bought in late 2013 or early 2014 (can’t remember) Love this knife.

I learned a lot from this knife over the years. It started with very disappointing edge retention, but these days it holds a edge fine. Either my sharpening skills have improved, or I finally got through to the “good steel” as some say happens.

Still the smoothest CRK I own. A keeper.
