The 2024 F**** K****?

I don't want sound facetious but have any you guys noticed the prices of everything hiking up like Sir Edmund Hilary and Sherpa Tenzing on crack?
Maybe just maybe it's time to possibly consider a FK price increase as well.. ?
You ain't kidding, my friend. That's just the times though, I guess. I'll complain about the price of everything under the sun except the price of the Bladeforums knife on Bladeforums. I haven't been around long, but I'm willing to bet 2022 was the highest priced forum knife ever, and then the 2023, and probably the 2024 too. I've never seen a GEC release at a dealer that had the price of the 2023 knife, and I'm cool with that. I thought we were supporting the forum. If the 2024 knife is significantly higher, I'm cool with that too. At the same time, I'm hoping for a really desirable forum knife.

Mike started a thread on this in 2021.
Oh man those would've been neat. I'm still upset about the lionsteel swing guard SFO he was going to do that I guess got ruined by certain world events.

Gec quality control for the most part has been very good, but the main attraction beyond that for me is they have that authentic traditional look coupled with a sturdy feel, not tinny like some others I have purchased. Now would bear and sons be able to keep quality control to an optimal level ?I can't see why they wouldn't want to and the same goes for Cooper knives, knowing the critics could put them in the spot light and allow them to build on it.as for the bladeforums viper as much as it was a quality knife it did not have that authentic traditional look for me.

I would be open to lots of options at this point, but this late in the year I don’t think anything is going to happen:(
We haven’t even sold all the 2023s yet!

Have they used Osage Orange handles yet?? That would be a nice knife!!
Or something they haven't used yet, for a BF exclusive!!View attachment 2604903

Osage isn't something I had considered, but that would be cool. I once had an osage 73 but had to sell it...cool wood that I wouldn't mind picking up again. For Opinel, what size? I think 6, 7, or 8 would be fine.

If Cooper is up to the QC we like to see in a forum knife, that would be a good option, too.
