The 2024 F**** K****?

Mike started a thread on this in 2021.
Now that you post that I do remember that vaguely, at least the pictures look familiar.

Every time we open a page, we see this:

“This is it, the last of BladeForums 2023 Traditional Knives. If you got one of the first 600 don't buy another of the 'below 600' ones, but the others are open for you. The rest are fair game.

Serial # less than 600, 14 pieces available, for people who missed the first offering. One per household, don't order if you bought in the first batch please, give others a chance. $200 ea“

This indicates that Spark is still stuck with 14 of last year’s F***’ K*****. That’s a hit, even at cost.

While I admire his restraint in not selling them off to flippers, I can’t help wondering if it dampens his enthusiasm for this year.🧐
I feel like Spark could move them if he wanted. Even if it was just opening it to people who already have one.

Haha, do
Likes count ? ;)

Huh? I hadn't heard about a lambsfoot project. Or maybe I have and I've inhaled to much paint fume this week 🤔

I originally put forth the suggestion of a bushcrafter Victorinox with saw and blade only. But the rumor is Vicotrinox is no longer going to do SFOs. So now I'm unsure. I would put my vote behind someone besides GEC, give someone else a chance to shine. Maybe ask Buck to do a two blade 303 to match the 301 from a couple years ago?
There are an awful lot of clubs and dealers out there (especially over in Europe) who will be up in arms if this is true!

The Victorinox was an unofficial Whine and Cheese subforum knife. They voted on the knife, etch, etc. and they were individually purchased from DLT. I think they'll etch just about anything on a blade that you're willing to pay for.

They'll etch it on the blade or stamp it in the handle (Celidor) of a standard model but if you want a custom configuration your name better be Elon Musk.

Several dealers have their own laser etching, and don't care what you want put on your knife.
My significant other has an industrial laser they use to cut/etch metal, wood, glass, etc. I’ve always wanted to use one on a blade but never courageous enough. Shes done rifles before and they’ve turned out great.

If I get a BF knife I’ll give it my best shot at a F**** K**** etch.

I feel like Spark could move them if he wanted. Even if it was just opening it to people who already have one.
Who knows, I don’t have one and contacted Spark a couple of times but didn’t hear back. My bank account doesn’t mind but I would take one if the opportunity was there.
