The 2024 F**** K****?

That is not what I was expecting it to look like. I imagined it would have a spork, a comb and a cap lifter/blade combination. That looks much better than the image in my head.

For anyone who missed the official thread announcing the 2024 Forum Knife, here it is: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/

#911324, 4 3/8", 3 blade stock knife pattern.

1095 Carbon Steel, Blade forums stamp on front of clip blade.

Jigged Amber dyed bone, shield to be determined.

Thanks to inflation, my cost on these has increased by over 50%. I will eat as much of that as I can for preorders but we are looking at a substantial increase in price. Non-preorder pricing will be $300 ea or more.

Pre order pricing will be around $250, shipped to CONUS...

It seems I was right in my prediction that the cost of a three-blader would raise the price significantly from the last few years. 💸 No hard feelings, but I'm out.

I hope everyone who wants one gets one, and I look forward to seeing pictures here.

I am very close to being with you. I'm still going to get this one, but $250 for a knife that I am getting because I like being on the Porch is a pretty hefty price tag. I certainly won't be offering to buy one for anyone else this year.

Fingers crossed that next year, if we are in an era where the price is no longer held low, we can finally get a glittery Punch-Nut. Or a Whaler. Or a Scout Knife.

Or a Scout Knife.

A full scout knife is the dream that I hope comes true whether its a forum knife or a general release knife (forum preferred). I would have grabbed one of the johnny on the spot #35's but I wasn't a fan of the bit driver and the punch/awl was sorely missed.

I doubt I could resist buying a glittery Punch-Nut, even at new GEC prices.

Something like this, but in sparkly gold.

Bill has a stock pile of it, im sure itll definitely knock the price down a bit 🤣
Really? He got some glitter gold/rosegold acrylic from the same manufacturer as on previous runs? I heard something that they don't do those anymore, and if there are some stashed at GEC I would love to see it being used a couple more times!

Glitter Gold seems to be busted out only once per decade 😆

One run in 2011 another in 2021 might have a few more in there not sure but those are what I remember.

yup, i had a 48 in big clip and single at one point and i didnt have the heart to delete it. it was one of the earliest appearances of the good as gold line that I can remember

Elk Ridge makes one identical to that "probably makes Boker's too" and it's a pretty solid hobo knife for cheap.
Indeed it is! In a pinch you can’t beat it. Easier to use than the one I had 50yrs ago 😁 don’t have to flip it around to use the fork and spoon😂

im lucky i dont have a dog in the race. its not a pattern I care much for nor is it a knife of the size id carry, so the fact that it crosses the limit of what I would willing pay for a pattern I chase, doesnt matter much. My heart goes out to you folks tho.

I didn’t mean to come across as complaining (just clarifying my post).

It will be cool to see others get them and use them. 👍🏼

3 bladed knives aren’t really my deal either. Love the blade styles though.
