Actual apocalypse? I don't think a knife is going to help me.

I keep the War Dog in my GHB: 5" long .220 thick INFI:


Once I get home, I'd probably grab the BK7. 7" of .200 CroVan 1095. Just in case.
 
Hmmmm. When I hear the word apocalypse I usually picture zombies...so I would just say my EDC. The Cold Steel ak 47. I am sure this blade would be up for any combat task and many utility tasks.

If I'm in my pajamas then I'll only have one knife, other than that I have a few; be prepared.
 
You guys listing guns, duh that's a no brainer. But we're not on "The High Road" forum, we're in the Blade forum...hmmm lets talk about knives...genius!!!

And you guys picking small knives to carry...you're gonna get hacked to pieces.

And the peeps that say, "I always carry blah and blah and a little blah and blah blah blah" well do you carry those in the shower? So jump out of the shower and you only have time to grab one knife, which one?

my bk7... doesn't do anything perfect but i does everything good enough and if i only have one knife that's the compromise i'm looking for
 
kabar 1271 black fighter. has an actual full tang instead of just full length like the other kabars (sans the tanto 1245, it's full too.) 8" blade, 12 7/8" overall, 1095.
i don't have any pictures on the computer so i'll use a generic one.
