The Apocalypse happens!!! What knife are you taking???

WOW. Joined this month too.

This post makes little contribution. and just sounds rude.

And this is not the place to sell anything......

You didn't even answer your own question, or answer the ops question.
He's right, though. It's not a serious thread. It's a fun, silly topic. Just post a big, crazy knife and smile about it. No need to rain on people's parade.

Also, join date means nothing. Let's not play the newb card. It's not a gaming forum.

You know what? On second thought, I'd ditch the battle Mistress and choose my GG&G Battlehawk made out of super thick S7 jackhammer bit steel. This thing is literally indestructible. You can probably chop a hole through an Abrahams tank with it. :D

I keep mine on a nail to the right of the window over the kitchen sink. Wish I knew the name of the maker--it's a heck of an interesting cleaver.

Blixx it was meant as a joke. Putting the Kabar as a bayonet on a pistol would be the last thing I would do. When they came out with it I just thought it was more of a novelty, useless.

TGLB infi to fight zombies, gangsters, crazis, commies, Fed MPs, etc.

That is a Busse Kukri ( killa Zilla, test team model) that I rehandled with redwood and thinned a bit. Don't have the specs on hand, but I believe it's a 12 inch blade, .25 ( maybe a hair more) thick. Unbelievable chopper

I've admired this blade in some other threads as well. Thought it was a Busse custom job. You have some real skill to do that yourself, it looks stunning. Glad to see you actually use such an aesthetically pleasing piece!

They are discontinued now, sorry. :( They very rarely pop up on the second hand market but if you ever come across one buy it immediately because it will go fast!

I'll be on the lookout for one. And if you ever get tired of chopping through tanks with yours let me know;)

2 x Schrade SCHF3N. One for each hand if needed. The firearms are slung and holstered. Ammo is secured, survival bug out kit is in the pack.

Hey, you guys need to look to your roots. A slipjoint will do everything you need short of banging it through a log.

Hi all,

My Custom Tracker design bottom knife in this pic. I made it from 3/16" thick 0-1 steel and has just under a 7" long blade.

They might have to bang through a log....

Very very nice! I love utilitarian blades!!! Kinda what I was trying to do with Melba Toast.

Things you can't do with a small blade during the Apocalypse!
