ETA - Here’s the interest poll thread. It is a VERY interesting read now in hindsight, given some of the “not in” responses, then some of those same folks ordered 2 in the pre-order!

Why not do the pre-order and then order the steel? I think it’s really tough to gauge how many will sell. It is an amazing blade. I keep waffling back and forth between getting another one so I can “Deadpool” () but in reality I probably won’t buy another one. The one I have is one of those forever things but a 2nd one would just sit in the safe. Over the past year or so I’ve scaled back on stuff that just sits and never gets used.

Not anytime real soon. That is deviating pretty far from a practical useful piece. But I would like to do a katana and a rapier at some point before I leave this mortal plane.

As you work on the folder have you given any thought about an ambidextrous clip? Myself as well as most other left handed folks can deal with a right handed knife but need it in the left pocket. I for one if Iam able to get one of your folder would put that sucker straight into my pocket and use it. Thanks for what you do.

Do you have any information that you would share on Friday sales of Shivs? For instance, how many will be available, will they be trickled out a few at a time or in a relatively larger group, possible time frame. I’m considering selling some other pieces to get one but wanted to weigh the probability of actually scoring one before I did that. Thanks in advance for your response.
