Bad THE BAD Will Moon

Hi All my Bladeforum Brothers & Sisters,

Here is an update:

So Will Moon decided to blast me & bladeforums on Facebook. If any of you thought he got his act together or was actually contrite with all his public apologize, think again. How many times is this now that he was given a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th chance and he shows his true colors. He is a petulant child and a liar. He claims that I'm the only one to have a complaint, lol at that. How many forums has he been banned from? How many customers has had complaints about him?

BTW Will, I know you are reading this. Would you like me to post the email where you admit that your whole MK7 line had an inherent problem with the pivots, and that they would eventually come loose? Let me see if I can find it and I'll post it later. YOU ARE PM MY BLACKLIST. Why would I ever want to by a piss poor knife from a thief and known liar, blacklist away scumbag.

A common claim of Will's was that rock lock in the mk7 is normal and will go away after break in. In the vein of the pivots, Will told a buddy of mine that adding loctite will void the warranty.

Did you know that if you go on the FB page "Cool Knives And Gear" (it's a group started by Darriel Caston), Will Moon has a post showing off a robotic ATV he bought?

This is BS, I have never said this, you should always loctite your pivot if you have a single piece pivot design Mk6, 7 or 12. You will only void your warranty if you disassemble my knives with the intent to modify.

@jdm_666 Greg is banned from my IG for constant trolling. Sorry man. I've offered him chances to bury the hatchet at least three times and he has always chosen to continue to troll, so he's out of here.

I am aware. He actually blocked me after I called my credit card company to get a refund for $700ish when he told me he needed to find a buyer to replace me before refunding me. Mind you, the knife was not made, nor had been worked on yet.

The reasons I cancelled my order are as follows:
- I got a mint mk7 with rock lock in a trade while waiting for my mk7 order
- I heard horror stories from my buddies about Will's customer service and build quality
- I discovered Will's illustrious history on forums (alias FriskyDingo etc)

When I got the mk7 in trade, it had wicked rock lock. I had specifically asked the trading party if it had any rock lock because I heard from several people that they had rock lock and Will was unable to fix it. So imagine my surprise when the mk7 came in and had rock lock. When I confronted the dude that I traded with, he told me that he had asked Will about it and that Will said that that is absolutely normal and will go away with break in.

At this point, I started asking around and was given personal accounts and links to his sordid past on various forums. Given that I had paid for my own mk7 in full several months before, I was quick to shoot an email to Will asking for a refund. When a day or so went by without a response, I opened a dispute with Paypal.

It is amusing to me how he has a new wave of people on Instagram ready to tar and feather any Will Moon naysayers.

Here are a few highlights from Will Moon on forums:
- epic 60ish page thread on Will's wip ballisogs where he is caught trying to steal one of Todd Beggs designs
- after months of being late on delivering something (think knucks), he claims that he was sick and didn't want to ship the items as he would spread his sickness
- a hilarious narrative where he was forced at gunpoint (in the gunman's lair) to purchase a knife from a semi-well known knife maker
- getting banned for being an arsehole (many times)
- using shill accounts to talk Will Moon up then getting called out for being Will himself

The gunman was supposedly former special forces and a bodybuilder.

In reality it was probably a one armed one legged midget with a water pistol.
 
There was another story from dingbat, er, dingo about him getting jumped outside of a movie theater. Not sure if that originated here but I remember it being mentioned elsewhere.

The guy is a thief and liar, with your payed for account you should know better.
 
I enjoyed roasting him about his butterknife balisong on the JD, hes a tool and it seems facebook is the place these guys run when the forums become inhospitable to them.

with all this negative feedback if he thinks hes some kind of master knife maker or has excellent customer service thats PURE DELUSION. He should go to a psychologist.

It won't help, he will never get the point.
 
Psychiatrist.......Just saying:).............But maybe in mr moons case, he needs both:D
