Jim was pretty honest in that video and even stated in a later video that he has had some issues with Will Moon regarding another order. He has also been pretty open about the backlash that he has received in the knife community about outing a semi well known knife maker for doing shoddy work. Which is one of the reason why as a collector, I don't like to openly complain to much and end up getting my orders dropped.
If the maker you are "collecting" has issues which cannot be resolved without you putting them out in the open, what makes you believe his or her work is worth collecting in the first place? And what about when you have a problem with his work in the future?
Pay for your orders via credit or debit card (Visa, MC, et) and they will stand behind you in the event of fraud or similar problems. There are far too many good, talented and upstanding makers to waste your time and effort on a hack like this guy, whose track record across the net as both Will Moon and Frisky Dingo are far too widespread for him to shove it under the rug.
Here's a hint tho for newbies....if the guy has no track record, he's not worth the same $$ as an RJ Martin or Tom Mayo.....materials and a web site do not make a quality "collectible" knife, skill, engineering talent, design talent and workmanship make a good knife which may be collectible.
