I pick my knives at the border, i never get charged custom fees. Should it help you any, i can do the same for you..

Yeah i know!! but only since last summer a Busse knife got 33% more expensive when ordering from Sweden :(
 
Will be interesting to see if the Battle Grade makes it to the Blade show and in what models.

Took out my old bills, a while back. I noticed that I don't get charged custom every time. Don't know why that is. A co worker has a U.S. Address that he gets stuff delivered to. The last purchase he made was a 150$ espresso machine that he bought on EBay. He declared it to the custom officer on his way back home..... He got charged for it :(

Only have seven ASH1's currently, Andy. So your lead is safe - for awhile. An SR101 ASH1? Hmmmm...Perhaps...;-)
 
I will of course get “one” of these if I possibly can (Lexi has already told me to stop begging till they are at least released) ...and I think for the most part this is a GREAT idea, however, to me at least, there are certain blades that really should be INFI, the ASH being one of them... call me a purist !!

I am sure that The Crew will make sure that the SR101 versions are well marked/etched and identifiable as there is certain to be some bottom feeding scumbag that will try and run a con and charge for INFI prices for SR101.

Any of those would be nice, maybe some Holy Terrors to add to the mix. Would like to at least play with 1 of those for a bit.

Would just look wrong I think. The ABA III is one of the sexiest Busses IMO ever made. They look stunning in satin. A patina would.....I'd be torn.



I think the Shiva could make a comeback in Battle Grade :), but once again, the satin thing...

I work on a cargo ship on the great-lakes. There is a marine post office in Detroit, with a mailboat that comes alongside us while in transit under the Ambassador Bridge. No customs, ever
 
Think you are correct, Andy. Some one will try to sell the SR ASH1 on that "big" auction site for the same price as an INFI model. But neglect to mention the difference, perhaps claiming ignorance of it - in an attempt to fool novice purchasers. Beware...😈...;-)

We have thought this through during the 15 minutes we were sober in the past 6 months, and here are a couple of things that we came up with.

1.) We will be marking the blades with the SR-101 steel designation.

2.) We will be enlarging either the talon hole or the lanyard hole in order to be able to identify a stripped blade where the logo has been removed.

Let's Drink To The Battle Grade!:thumbup:
