View attachment 1162196 View attachment 1162197 Justed added A Dr. Death to my collection for my forth Shiro. This thing is super light and is worth the hype. I have been impressed with becoming a member to the Shiro family
Totally speechless....so the state of my Shiro collection... some I have had a while... some I traded for... some I have purchased from great guys here! (hint: Mat and Justin and Lettierej) - and I wish I took better pictures... View attachment 1164220

Hell of a collection, Pharmagator! I wish I lived at a financial level that’d enable me to indulge myself with a Shiro collection like that, but in the meantime I guess I’ll have to content myself with my 95T, 111 and NeOn Ultra-Lite. Oh, well--someday, maybe...
I have made over fifty thousand dollars buying and selling knives over the years! (the key to my success? starting out with a hundred thousand dollars...)
I used to buy/sell/trade/upgrade firearms and over many years, I developed a costly taste for what are categorized as “fine shotguns.” I think in the end I broke even or came close to it, which probably made me one of the lucky few. Folding knives are my present replacement for my gun collection of years past. I’ll probably start selling off the lower half of my knife collection in the near future so I can build up some funding for upgraded future purchases. I just hope I can sell a few and build up a little kitty before Shiro pops an M390 F3R with python scales, which is presently the one Shiro that I’d grab without hesitation if it became available.I have made over fifty thousand dollars buying and selling knives over the years! ^^ So says the guy who only yesterday (around 19 posts back) was exultant about being on the verge of dropping $1.8K on a single knife. I must be one of those “Titans of the industry” who’s not anywhere near able to drop $1.8K on a knife.

I wouldn't show her that number, brother, unless you're the one holding what I take to be Pharma's disappeared 50K.I am showing that $$ number to my wife.![]()
I did want to ask you about that Tabargan you sold back in February,Pharmagator . I bought one exactly like it from BF member Mcshank in March that he said he'd recently bought here. Wondering if it might be the same knife.
Oddly enough, he's the one who bought my beloved M390 100NS with custom CF scales the year before--a sale I often regret making, although it financed my F95R with its 3.5mm Vanax 37 blade. He sold it too, regretted it, and is now in the process of having another he bought modded to duplicate it.
Pharmagator , I'm remembering back when you came to the Den early this year having read what was all of 70-some-odd pages at the time trying to gauge value for you older Shiro collection as you were raising money back then. Since then, some of those 11 are gone but you're up to a couple dozen now. I'm reminded of what @Scrim wrote back on Page One almost three years ago, that he'd been "bit by the Bear bug bad". I think that Bear bug has probably eaten at least one of your legs entirely and is working its way up the other.
