The Bears' Den--Shirogorov Showcase

Yep, it's Lochsa. I guess it is not a "true integral" — those inlays might provide access to the bushing and washers.

But I do like the overall design, may be even more than the original SCK custom.

A few pictures from the official announcement:

The pocket clip must have been tedious to install

In happier news and on the subject of the last post - James very kindly provided an image of the clip design on the RU Lochsa. Just a gorgeously designed/machined piece of titanium. Secured via a countersunk screw tightened inside of the lanyard hole at the butt of the knife. Such an elegant solution and very similar to how Michael Raymond handled his hidden hardware clip on his integrals (though he did the screw inside the handle rather than on the "outside".

Where is Bladezilla getting his supply from? And let’s see what he lists it at. I’m guessing has greedy ass will have it around $8k.

Similar to how the james brand did the barnes.

Plus that bladezilla dude is a scalper in nature. Horrible dealings with him.

Basically “yeah and what are you going to do about it” mentality.

Bladezilla is getting his supply from the same place all the other usual high rollers are - through the back door. It was mentioned that BladeZilla has sold 1 already - and may have 1-2 more sitting in "stock". So yeah just your classic 50 pc lotto where 3 happen to end up with a flipper/secondary dealer. Nothing suspect there at all.

One sold and one more available.

I’d maybe do some illegal things for a damasteel dr death…. By far more than I would for the Russian lochsa…
Really? Personally think thats abput the ugliest knife theyve ever made except the crk collab

I really enjoyed my time with the Russian Dr Death but I was disappointed by the detent. The one I owned was so light the flipper only worked consistently when positioning your hand very deliberately to try and get extra leverage on the flipper tab (artificially preloading it way more than the detent itself could manage).

The super light weight of the CF version combined with the blade shape was a great combo - though.
