Do we know that Knife Center is an official Shirogorov dealer? I got their email and link to the vid with all the new Shiros they have in stock (priced the same as R1), but there was no mention of them being an authorized dealer. They've always had a few Shiros here and there for sale and I just figured they'd picked them up overseas at Workshop retail and were marking them up to re-sell. No different than what R**Blade or FRWT do selling online from Russia. I looked at USN and did a bit of an internet search and found no mention of officialdom for KC re Shiro sales. There have been a few changes of late. No longer offering S90V in their serials plus Knife Center is now an official dealer for Shirogorov knives. The main US dealer is still their premier dealer and distributor and from what I understand through the grapevine, they will still address warranty claims even if KC is the seller. Something like that!
I've been curious about Knife Center's relationship with Shirogorov and noticed a few things that–in absence of evidence that they are an official dealer–led me to the conclusion that they were purchasing their Shiros from the authorized dealer and reselling them. First they were significantly marked up from the official dealers prices but now they are the same. I am in no way implying that Knife Center is doing anything unethical.Do we know that Knife Center is an official Shirogorov dealer? I read on IG that Shirogorov will no longer offer their knives using Vanax. I wonder what factors led to that decision?

need some info... on Shiro knives...
I have 3 older boxes... with 3 older knives... not sure what the label means...
Hati, RWL34 FS, G10 (russian for orange) what does the FS mean?
Hati, S30V CF what does it have? washers? bearings?
F3, Elmax FS CF 3D (big russian word) what does the FS mean?
As always, that knife is looking really good in those photos. It was your pictures of that knife that got me interested in Shiro knives to start with. Thanks for chasing down the official story on Knife Center's relationship with Shirogorov, T TightLines andCasinostocks . As you say, CS, it is good to have a BF registered authorized Shiro dealer. Surprising that R1 won't pony up the 300 bucks annually for a presence here.
As I've been admiring new DenizenDRLyman 's recently acquired Turtle, I was prompted to pocket my trusty old F95T today. I headed out to snap some fresh pics just as the rain started.

It’ll be interesting to see if KC will carry inventory with ongoing availability like they do with almost everything else or whether they’ll have intermittent availability like R1 has a lot of the time. R1 availability has been better for a number of models in the last few months, but it still seems to come and go with some models. I also wonder if KC will do lotteries the way R1 does every now and then, like they did with the Pero. This should be interesting to watch as it unfolds.
