yes, I purchased this with the 3 bears certificate (from Russia) I like the 'eyes'pattern a little better... but this is the only one I have seen in a while...
When I first saw your text before scrolling down to the pics I thought you'd bought the one from page 4 of the Cove over at USN. It has the eyes pattern and an interesting steel in RWL34. Nothing wrong with yours for sure, though. Very nice.yes, I purchased this with the 3 bears certificate (from Russia) I like the 'eyes'pattern a little better... but this is the only one I have seen in a while...
Because of the cost of these knives, I compared every model I could and this one kept coming to the front of the pack for me. I received this last week and absolutely love this knife. For me, this is perfection. I don't see myself carrying any other knife for quite some time. I am so happy I decided to purchase this knife.

Thanks. You are correct. It is M390. It’s also nice to know the HRC they use for this steel. I was surprised it was that high. Other manufacturers don’t let you know for some reason.A real beauty! I have a 95T almost that knice!
(and I am guessing M390 for the blade steel)
Shiros will do that, especially the Turtle. Next stop an F3, DR--really feels great in hand and an excellent liner lock to boot. Then onto.... You see where this goes.Still enjoying this knife. It’s just a week old, but it has bumped all others from my pocket.

LOL This one is just a week old. I am refraining from looking at other Shiros for a while now or my wife will kill meShiros will do that, especially the Turtle. Next stop an F3, DR--really feels great in hand and an excellent liner lock to boot. Then onto.... You see where this goes.
I just went old school and traded one of my Sebenzas for a Tabargan 100NS with uncontoured G10, open back, and 440C. I've got a couple old Benchmades in that steel that take scary sharp edges and Shiro seems to do such a great job with all their steels that I'll happily give it a go. I miss my M390, marble CF 100NS and curiously got this one from the guy I sold it to. He sold mine, also missed it, bought the one he's sending me then bought a second one in Vanax 35 that he's having modded to match the liners and CF of my original knife.
...and around and around it goes...![]()
