Are these still in production? I've seen a few sell on the exchange, but out on the interwebs they seem scarce. I love the design.
They are not still in production but GEC did do a large run of them by GEC standards.
It was a pretty big run this year. Draft beer acrylic, charred barrel oak (serialized), beer barrel oak, maroon linen micarta, and golden ale jigged bone.I'm starting to worry that there won't be a Beer Scout run this year. I so look forward to any knife with a cap lifter.
I just hope the next run of Beer Scouts is anything other than a sheepsfoot. I feel like I'm set on those.

What I'd really like to see is a spey-and-caplifter Beer Scout, although I'm sure that wouldn't be many people's first choice. To me a spey would make sense because I think it's a good blade for food, particularly slicing things like sausages (which, of course, pair perfectly with beer).

How about a short run with BG-42 blade and 420 caplifter?![]()
I think there were only like 25 made of the ebony.Very nice of you Ed. I remember ~P showing it off.
I've come across other variants such as Yellow jigged bone and rust red, but never the Ebony.
