The Beer Scout Knife

Nice job, Barry! I can't capture the tiger-eye-effect, but it's in the wood all right. I am loving the color(s)! My photo make it look plain, but it is NOT.

 
Just got mine today. Went right to work. Amazing fit and finish on mine. Everything is perfect. No gaps, perfect centering, main is about a 5 and cap lifter is about a 7. Love it.

Sorry guys, the second batch of packages seems to be in Kent, WA. It's the major USPS sorting/transfer facility in the area. They will be along shortly!

They all look pretty much like this one (even though this one's a second 'cause the notch got a little large).

Brad, that is actually a very good photo of the color, but the chatoyance is something a camera can't capture. Nice knife!

Another beauty HWF! :D:D:D:D

Perry, you're right, if you see where it looks like cross hatching, almost like tiny sawcut, that's where it ripples on the scale side. Pretty sweet!:thumbup:

Is chatoyance like the Yeti, can't be captured on film?:D
 
Well, here is a quick attempt at capturing the effect; capturing it would work much better on video. Just some more gun scout snappies for fun at the least. These are unedited in very direct sun.
