Yes, it is. I was looking at the grind on the flats of the blade and figured that he had removed a fair bit of material. I am of the school of thought that says that even a "chopping" design like that doesn't need as much weight bias out toward the tip as some might think. Where does it balance?Joe the Brown's Eric's
