My father received a phone call or text message (can’t remember which) claiming to be from the DWP and they they haven’t received the last bill and that the power would be shut down within an hours time if it’s not paid. He called me to tell me and right away I said do not click any links or give any information because it’s a scam. We get so many spam/scam phone calls and texts here, it’s absurd.

With that said, I can’t wait to see what kind of grain I get on my bunny knife. After seeing all these pictures I’m kind of hoping to get one with some grain peeking through. Here’s to hoping I get my tracking soon!

My grandmother is 91, and gets so many scam calls she refuses to even answer the phone any more. I have to drive over and knock on her door if I want to tell her something. There has to be something that can be done about the amount of scam calls.

DWP will not contact you like that.

That's very unfortunate. There are some apps you can install on your phone that will filter a lot of the spam/scam calls but a lot of them still get through unfortunately.

Correct. Unfortunately we just have to educate ourselves to not fall for these scams/phishing calls/emails
