The Case Barlow is BACK

I believe the first business you mention is the same place I ordered mine. If so, I received a somewhat snarky email from them saying that they haven't received the shipment of sawcut Barlows from Case yet as they were running behind on production. I have my fingers crossed that it has something to do with those wonky covers and is being corrected.

I'm crossing my fingers but I just know my luck. Maybe that is why I haven't heard from the first company that I ordered from.Maybe they didn't like what Case sent to them to sell.Their name is on the line too.
 
Here are a few more shots for you all. :) Sorry for the delay, my shoulder's been feeling good so I talked them into letting me go back to work three weeks early. Been playing catch up.

All in all, I can't see how I could be more pleased with the knife I received. It's everything I was hoping it would be and has a better fit & finish then I was expecting. Blades could use a good sharpening though. Nasty bur on both blades.

Also ( r8shell r8shell ) after looking a bit closer, it seems the case logo has been laser engraved. They did a fantastic job on it though and the engraving is very deep.

I'd be quite happy if mine look like that when they come.I have two ordered.One for me and one for my cousin..

Hopefully that luck manifests as a couple of excellent Barlows whenever they arrive ;)
I'm hoping that's the case though, that the company rejected a shipment of lemons and are now awaiting a better batch. If that's the situation I can wait. So far some nice examples have been posted so I'm trying to be optimistic.

Love the texture on those covers, I'd be very pleased if mine is similar to that.

I'll post a picture of the one that will be arriving either Wed. or Thursday. It is scheduled for Thursday delivery but according to where it is now, I might get it Wed. Either way,I'll snap a picture of it and post it, good or bad.

Yea, it has a very interesting combination for the covers for sure. I can't say that I have anything like it in my collection. I'm very, very happy with it. :D

Me too! I was hoping for a nice, solid chestnut brown at first... But after opening the box I quickly changed my mind. It's perfect.

I hope you get a winner too!
