Thanks, D. Just been making sawdust and wood chips on a set of matching knife and 1911 grips for a customer. Clearing space for the collab blades!

Have a great day, guys!
Remember... safety first. My friend cut his thumb off at the first digit, on his table saw.

Morning!

Rolf, tell your friend to get a Saw Stop. That's what we use at work, they're actually great saws. YouTube it if you haven't seen them before.

Time for some machaca before work!

TR those matching sets are too cool!

Rolf I hear you on that! That's rough, we're thinking of your friend!

Sounds good X! I'll look into those saws, table saws frighten me!

*takes notes for when I have shop space*

Putting the condo on the market on Monday! I guess this shit's real. I'll be in ATL soon.

Hope you all are doing fine!

Sounds great Liam!

They keep it southernplayalistic down in the ATL... :D

Hey FBC!!! How's it going!

Worn out here, I worked on forty parts yesterday.. hit sixty counterbores within thousandths! These frickies are precision tools...

12 blades and clips mostly ground! Nakago!

Thanks Kevin! NASA folder!

Rolf, my one year old Amber really likes your avatar! Pidey!

These frickies are coming along nicely, they are very time intensive but they will be the best friction folder available!

Hi Gang!
Daniel- Please thank Amber. And tell her spiders only bite when they are hurt or scared.
This pic is a Purseweb, male, spider. We have them them up here on the Ridge. The females live in a web tube at the base of a tree. Hit Google and read about them.
Keep up the great work, Daniel!!

Mornin' fellers!

D, any brand cutter you prefer for end mills? I shattered my 1/4" 4 flute center cutting end mill cause im dumb but learning. It was a cheapy but it sucked and took a long time to do any real work.

Kev we need some updated pics of your work! Don't forget IG haha.

Check out Lakeshore Carbide and Maritool. Niagara makes great end mills. I just got a new ball end from Maritool and it looks top notch... all made in USA. They are costly but I'm finding quality carbide to work best and cost less in the long run. TiAlN [?] coating does help out, it's the purple coating.

I traded for most of my tooling so I do not know the brand on most... but as mentioned this new stuff from Maritool seems to be a great way to go. Skip the HSS as Carbide works so much better on Ti.

Those gold bits you get in a box with your mill {a lot of mills come with them} are just junk, maybe good for cutting soft woods....

IMWILSON will know what's the best...

Pics soon! I have a pile of Ti dust...

I just switched from cutting my lock bar recess with the knife laying flat to cutting it horizontally held in a vise. I use a kant twist clamp to hold the lock closed and it really works great. \

It is easier to keep the milling looking clean and you can un-clamp and check the tension.

D, sometime could you get a vid of you milling the lock relief? I'd like to see it in action.

Thanks for the link dude! I'll order some of these!
