More grinding today! I was getting a lot done yesterday and decided to take an early afternoon break, lol it was already after five. :thumbup:
I've got a bazillion frickies either finished or going...
Flippers are slowly getting closer... nothing in yet but they are officially on!!! I'm using .13" AEB-L steel and .16" thick Ti frames/full length spacer/clip.
I have another big day planned and then tomorrow is mail day!

I'm going thick but heavily contoured scales, they will be very substantial yet I'll make them light. I used the 160 for the Nakago spacers and clips, I am really liking the thicker yet more contoured clips... so are the guys I buy grinding belts from!

I have tapping and stop pins to do before fitting the blade and making some adjustments. Was reading a lot about tapping and I think I'm going to try #47's with the 2-56's. Gotta stop breaking them sometime, right???
D, you got a gopro? I'd kill for some more footage. Particularly with milling lock relief and how you do your pivot collars.
Got shipping confirmation on my new end mills. Can't wait! Mari's prices were pretty good. I forgot to get the ball end mill though because I'm a damn scrub.

I watched a guy grinding on a piece of steel the other day wearing some heavy leather welding gloves. Gave me the willies just thinking about him have the belt grab the gloves and pull his fingers into the belt. His complaint was that his fingertips were getting hot. Better than losing them though...
