morning fellows...my buddy at the range put me onto Forged in Fire since we talk about knives here and there besides firearms. Makes me want to forge my own blade but at the same time looks tough as fuck especially the episode where they had no electricity and had to use coal only.

I know they had Salem who is on here on an episode couple months back as well. Interesting to see the different workflows/styles that each knifemaker does with their varied amount of experience. I know the show has been around but I don't watch much TV for a city boy, only sports usually.
 
Ive seen a couple episodes here and there, it's pretty cool.

I've seen the first 2 episodes, cool show!

I'm breaking out the forge any day now, the snowbank has subsided! I still need a decent anvil but it is a lot of fun.

14 hours of finalizing CAD in the last two days... fingers crossed! I may actually make a flipper, lol.

Soccer tonight! :D it was snowing a second ago...

Ti tastes nasty like any metal but CF is something else, actually tastes like artificial sweetener. I've never actually tried a sample but after grinding all day you get one, lol...

morning guys, happy hump day...can't wait to see the flipper proto when it comes out.

Watched a couple more episodes last night and one female bladesmith made a dagger and was running out of time to fit her handles. So she literally wrapped the tang with leather and super glued it. Judges and her was like it was the best prison shank ever lol.

First - friction folders, then backpackers for collab, then a flipper, ....then daggers.

I got rid of my boot knife, so maybe daggers is a good idea.

Morning guys!

It's my Friday! Going to be super busy this weekend, have to get some ammo loaded up for a match on Sunday, Saturday were going wine tasting with some friends, getting a limo and the whole works, have to build 5 backdrop frames that are 8'×5', need to get a bike tuned up for a friend, somewhere in all this I'd like to go fishing and fly my new kite too, lol!

TR I have a Ti dagger run planned, it's kind of like a mini sword with a ring pommel.... tentative name "cocktail sword"! I want to make them integral like the Backpacker and in bright solid colors/stonewash.
