Message sent. Good luck Don! I hope you get one, or two!I looked all over online and didn’t find any new 118’s in either of the the regular variety.
If someone finds one send me a message, I’d like to get one.
I'm not sure what the term Snoopy Sheath really describes. The only flat sheath I have on a Buck 118 is this one from the early 1980's. Is this a "Snoopy Sheath"? I bought this one NIB a number of years ago in Fayetteville NC, this is the sheath and the knife that came together in a single piece top-flap type box. OHOH,i have a 118 flat snoopy sheath with the 3 buck stamp on the snap and im wondering what would be the correct era knife for that sheath. I'd like to fill it. Also great knives and stories you have!!
I sure enjoy seeing the manifestation of other folks Obsessive-Compulsive Behavior!! Very nice collection you are assembling there! OHMy obsessive knife buying ticked up a notch last month. Here is a pic of my first 4 Buck 118's.

"Wanna see my Gator Head"? ...does not sound much better....Ya, but it looks to me more like a gator head, maybe that's just cuz I'm a Floridian, besides, what man want's to say check out my snoopy sheath. LOL
