Haha, Im going to bed before this gets any worse..........night heads!

He made it with and without onions, so the level of burn coming out could be chosen I guess....

Can't even get up the gumption to snark about anything tonight. I developed a full-blown, raging sinus infection over the weekend and right now it feels like every single one of my upper teeth has it's own dwarf beating on it with a hammer. :(

umm meatloaf all we need is some corn on the cob and mashed potatos and we in bussiness!!

Y'all see where Blind Horse Knives is no more? https://www.facebook.com/blindhorseknives
Yes. The interwebz are all a-twitter over it. There is much weeping and gnashing of teeth in some circles.

I fail to see what the big deal is... both guys are going to continue making knives; from what I've heard, they will honor warranty stuff on previous work; every BHK out there just increased in value immediately.

It's kinda like when Metallica kicked Dave out of the band... we ended up with two great bands to listen to. Or the great Yoko Ono debacle... frankly I liked a lot of John's solo stuff and Wings was a great rock band, not to mention George's projects. Heck, even Ringo put out a couple pretty good singles. Sometimes change is a good thing!

How weird does that make me?! I don't like bone scales or handles or even bone stuff like fire pistons or handles for ferro rods. I don't like the way it feels in hand...

Don't sweat it... that may well be the least weird thing about you :p

...he (and you fools ;)) are just intimidated because im comfortable with my sexuality! :D

You go, girl!

I'm 6 episodes into season 1 of Sons of Anarchy on netflix and already pretty much addicted.

SOA is great. My roommates are into it too but I'm a season behind so every time they watch an episode I leave the room so I don't get any spoilers.

I just got over one of those a couple weeks ago. Mine was pretty mild really but it hung in there for a long time.

Mornin' guys. Just went grocery shopping a bit with my dad. We got to the beverage store, got everything we needed and close to the register there were two cases of... some of you might have guessed it... The elusive Westvleteren 12. Often considered as being the best beer in the world. It's status is enhanced by the limited production and availability. Well, I don't think it took us one second before loading some of them into our shopping cart. At 10+ dollars per bottle a very expensive beer for domestic produced beers, but worth it.
Great start of the day :)

...At 10+ dollars per bottle a very expensive beer...

Good grief, how good can it be?!? Does it pour itself into your face, give you a shoulder rub and drive you home afterwards, or what? I barely pay $10/bottle for bourbon, for Pete's sake :D

Well, it's the premium of premium beers. At 10%+ and with the tasteful palet it sure ain't no Heineken. You pay more for a 15yo Talisker single malt compared to a JD blended whiskey too, don't ya? It's not a kind off 'I will just chug the cans of beer down the hatch'- type of beer but more of a degustation beer that you drink for the taste, the enjoyment, the craftsmanship. Not to get drunk asap:). But for that purpose, it will work rather quickly as well :-)

I'm gonna gave to dig the snowblower out today. There's a winter storm blow in through and then already have a 2.5 foot drift by my front door. Up until now I've been shoveling, but it looks like we finally have enough for the blower.

Don't forget the green bean casserole and the corn bread! Some moonshine would be good with that too!

Just for the record, we had freshly handbroke green beans from a buddies garden, and redskinned mashed taters with it. I must say it made a fine offering to the bogg this morning!

I nominate degustation for WOTD. Mostly because it sounds gross but actually means something quite nice, and that amuses me.

That is a fine word. I'm going to bust it out at the diner when the duck hunters roll in.
