Wow what a find, grats!

Mine would have to be my Les George Talos (midtech). Amazing fit and finish, awesome stonewashed handles and blade, razor sharp and smooth as butter right out of the box. I love midtechs since I can't afford customs :)

CRKT Foresight. Never thought I wanted one, until I handled it in the store, then I had to get one (Christmas present to myself) my mom and dad saw it when I brought it home, decided they liked the blade, now they have 2 on the way (after saying they'd never spend any more than $20 on a knife). I got a no box discount, making my total for this one $80. Favorite knife purchase of 2014, hasn't left my pocket since I got it.

Well , it's not my best knife I bought this year or my favorite . But for what I paid for it compared to it's value it is "the find of the year" . I found a Swiss Army INOX at a fleamarket and picked it up for $3 Canadian . THAT'S a find

Find of the year=The mirror-finish stainless Kershaw Leek I got for $15 at a flea market. It's a real one by the way, not a knock off. Best $15 spent all year.

I got 2 ultimate grails custom made for me and delivered right before Christmas. First gold battle xl by Frank fischer and a 4.0 archangel by Todd Fischer. Both have hidden hardware and hand made damascus by Frank and Todd. I Wanted a silver and gold contrast between the 2 and couldn't be any happier. Still in awe, happy New Years everyone and hope we all score great knives next year!

Spyderco Gayle Bradley was by far my best knife purchase of 2014 or any other year for that matter. Coming in second would be my SE Pacific Salt (picked up that and the GB for about $200 for the pair). Third would be my KW exclusive BM810 contego in M390 but I gifted that to my friend as a homecoming gift from Iraq ( it didn't see any pocket time anyway after I got the gayle bradley :) )

My best knife deal of 2014 was a Spyderco Native LW. I was doodling around on Amazon one night and found it for less than $40. The next day I thought, "I shoulda bought two for that price." Went back online to order a second and the price was back to normal.

The best knives I bought in 2014 were the Dragonfly G10, Gayle Bradley and ZT 0550. Three of the best knives I've ever owned.

Folder would have been Lionsteel Ti-spine. Fixed would be the Fiddleback Forge Bushboot that I got from the mailbox this morning. It's been in my hands for only a few hours and wow absolutely perfect, can't believe I didn't get one earlier.

I'd have to say this forum is my find of the year :D

...or the Native 5 LW that I picked up recently, it's managed to be carried more often than the Delica ZDP that I thought was the perfect EDC knife before the Native came along. Not so sure now...

Not so much a 'find' as I'd been looking at this knife off-and-on for many years in the same shop, but I finally bought it so it is definitely my 'purchase of the year'. A vintage Al Mar Presidential Commemorative bowie.

For me it would be my grail knife: Busse TGLB + custom leather sheath with my own specifications and sketches!
