I just stopped it, and that blue lockback is so sharp I'm almost afraid of it. Love it!!!
That 25 is very nice. What cover is that?

2011 #62 Split back whittler. The quality of craftsmanship on this knife is that of a custom level.

Beautiful trio, have you de-bailed that Northfield? I'm very impressed with that Spear White Owl, been after an example any scales for ages, got a bite sometime ago but then got the run around...Must get my Owls from '11 out but they're all messy users except the very un Dead Skunk :D
Thanks Will. Yes, I apologize to any GEC purist who may have been offended but the bail had to go. ;) :)
I remember seeing your ebony White Owl after it had become a well loved user and I even then I considered it one of the most beautiful knives of all time. The few early year GECs I have are treasured not only for their uniqueness and quality but also for the memories they inspire.
BTW my friend, your collection of 33s is certainly enviable and that yellow 66, WOW!!!

Schrade Fire & Ice with black pick-bone handles as built by GEC for Taylor in 2007. Impulse purchase from SMKW while driving by on a duck hunting trip to Arkansas a good decade back. As I recall they still had a number in stock (in January 2012). OH

Finally had a half hour to browse all the way through and read the remarks, take in the photo's etc. Simply doesn't seem that long ago that GEC was a new company re-introducing old-time methods and patterns. Forgot about this Dorton SFO, a Krack-A-Jack cotton sampler from 2010 until I browsed all the pages. OH

Charlie Dorton is/was an old friend of Bill Howard!! Half the stuff Bill knows about old, traditional knives was learned from Charlie; so Bill told me years ago!!!
