The Flea Market Mung Absolution Thread

Thanks for all of the input on the cornflower blue. Now I am really stoked about this Arete. The next issue will be what sheath color to go with it...

Thanks Phillip! I'll have a much better perspective once I get the knife. That sounds good.

I love cornflower blue! I think cornflower with natural pins looks great with a tan sheath.

Thanks for the pics! Those help a lot. I still find it ironic that I never paid any attention to this color until Dave posted the Arete.

The Arete has landed! I love the cornflower blue! I think it's a different shade of blue whenever the lighting changes. The handle with a 5/32" blade thickness is perfection in my hand. The balance, the blade length, blade shape is spot on. Why did I wait so long to get an Arete??:o This thing is really impressive.

Arrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!! I need money for Flea Market knives!!!!! I can't believe some of the deals right now!!

Michael

I'm not sure how this works with wives... but I frequently say "oh yeah I traded _____ for this knife so no worries" to my mom. Just hide the other knife for a month or so and ride out the Fiddleback addiction lol.

It pretty much works the same way.

You're absolutely right Michael. I could spend a couple grand on the last few pages and save that again. Outstanding deals!
