For what it's worth , at least this guy actually did bushcrafty stuff . I'm not sure if this is exact same model ?

What really is pointless is trying to appreciate a knife through a picture without using it or at least holding it in the hand.
You want to give your opinion - find that knife, use it and prove it is good/worthless.
Other than that those are just empty words.

It doesn't take a "couch survivor" like myself that has 30+ years and 100's of hours behind a blade to know that the fancy Ganzo paint scraper that you're reviewing failed to meet the criteria of a useful "survival" knife.

After years of actual research and use (both of which you seem to lack), nearly every seasoned knife veterans can easily judge a knife without ever having to hold or test it.

;) And humble too !

I'd pick this one over original ganzo instead. Its 1.5 oz lighter and the tip is not as high. No need to take it apart either. I don't know call me old fashioned.
Next time maybe include some specs in your voiceless review. You seem to be pretty adamant with them so make a better effort.

Hey, look at that, a USEFUL tip.

If only it had a seatbelt cutter built into the sheath then you could do some real survivaling.

Is it really fair to compare the Ganzo to the CS 3V Master Hunter at 3 to 4X cost ? Yeah, I'd rather have the Cold Steel , too .

We are bladeforum members we don't need to sink lower. Theres a vg1 model one can save up for by avoiding ganzo. Btw price wasn't mentioned in this review i don't think.

Some of these seasoned knife veterans don't even need to see the knife to say it's crap.
Sometimes they just need to see the brand name or even just the country it is being made in.

Why didn't you get it yet then?

~$26, could be had for $19.99 on sale.

You really are missing the bigger picture. Maybe if you step back from your incessant advocating and promotion of clones, counterfeits, "homages," etc and the people who make them and sell them, you would see it.

1) A crap design is a crap design and that is a crap design. Doesn't matter who made it.
2) You can see a crap design if you understand knives and what functions that are meant to perform.
3) Brand names who grew their business on the backs of others people's work are a deal breaker for many here, regardless of what they are doing now.
4) Sure, some people here object to Chinese-made anything. But you are confusing them with the members here who object only to Chinese-made crap and clones and counterfeits.

Its clear that your level of passion for knives and the people who make their living making them is on a level where you are fine apologizing for and promoting these knives and the companies that make and sell them.

Maybe when you have been here more than a couple months you may come to understand that this site is about people who are actually passionate about knives and the knife industry. Not people looking at knives as merely something that cuts stuff and can be used to make a profit at any cost.

Then you may understand peoples' replies to your posts.

Don't agree it is a crap design.
Certainly not saying it is the best survival/camping knife out there, but it is capable of doing the work it is intended for, and that might be more than enough for some folks out there, especially beginners in the knife world.
I think for the price it is more than adequate.

can you seek out original design beginner knives instead of vehemently promoting brands that steal other people design language? i dont see why thats a problem.

Well, then maybe one day you will be able to recognize a good design and good people who make them, and promote knives (and the people who make and sell them) that are better than "more than enough", lowest common denominator, cheap ripoffs.

It really is what we do here.

Maybe a "YouTube" or "Instagram" or "Walmart Customer Reviews" might be a better venue for your promotion. Maybe the less sophisticated and passionate knife users there might appreciate it.

It doesn't seem to be "flying" among the members here.

For about $20 more than the Ganzo, I'd steer someone toward a real Bushcraft knife

And if they absolutely couldn't afford more than ~$25 they should buy a Mora Companion.

I don't really understand the purpose of the Ganzo. I don't understand how anyone could recommend it over a cheaper or more expensive option when either option is a better knife.

I agree that the blade looks like a 5 inch long machete. What's the point of that??
To me the handle looks cheap. I also don't recall ever seeing "SURVIVAL KNIFE" written on the blade of any respectable survival knife that I have ever seen or used. Like someone who is into survival stuff needs to be reassured that they are indeed getting a "survival" knife.

Its just marketing to the uninformed masses IMO.

Nicer try though.

When will you realize that not everyone on this forum shares your (and your WC crowd) tastes and preferences?
2 folks on this thread have thanked me for this review - that is more than enough for me.
Last time I've checked you aren't the owner of this forum and not even a mod - so please don't tell me what to post and to other people what to do with their money.

BTW - I've never seen you post a review of a knife or even a picture.
Everyone could be a critic (or a troll), being productive is completely another thing.

I own a Mora Robust.
Still glad I got the Ganzo though, it has a wider, longer and beefier blade, sits better in the sheath and has a usable hammer at the back.
Those 2 together are a nice combo though.

You really should leave the "WC" references of of this subforum. (And all subforums for that matter.)

I'm sorry that you are having difficulty with your reviews being reviewed...but that is the nature of a forum. Again, that is why I suggested other venues as possibly being more to your liking.

And I actually did repeatedly review the knife you reviewed in this thread. I believe I called it a "poorly designed cheap ripoff of an already poorly designed knife" or something like that.

Perhaps you can ask Spark (the owner of these forums) what he thinks about your channel and your "reviews."
Doesn't matter what I do on other platforms, I respect the rules and carefully selected what I posted on this forum.

Please stop driving people off this forum and learn to accept other people's opinions.

Just like I said - if you actually had the knife I would listen to what you had to say, picture reviews are worthless to me.

Just like hater reviews of my reviews.
