I wish I had seen these the other day,:D I would have not blown my monthly knife budget !! If your planning on more of these for the the future I would def be interested, keep up the good work these really look nice, and not to mention tough!! I think the GSO-5 would be a perfect companion out in the woods:thumbup:

I certainly am looking at doing another run. By late spring I'm hoping to have an established line up of blade offerings, complete with a laundry list of finish options.

Ok, a little about the configuration of my knives. Since releasing my test videos I have had an outpouring of people asking me to beat them through cinderblocks, steel plating, hardened bolts, bowling balls etc... I designed my knives for efficient CUTTING and to that end they feature a convex grind down to a thin zero edge. These knives have tremendous cutting potential and bite very deep. They have fairly thick spines to handle batoning and the twisting forces of hard use. The CPM-3V has been hardened to rc 59-60, for a good balance of toughness, edge holding and ease of resharpening. These knives are designed for a lifetime of use as a cutting tool, even under the most trying circumstances.
If you primary concern is being able to hammer through hardened steel or cinder blocks, please look elsewhere.

Sorry, didn't mean to mess up your renovation plans. lol  I just had to throw that out there because the focus seems to have shifted away from a knife being used for cutting and more towards a knife being able to be used as a wrecking bar. I certainly could make wrecking bars. The problem is they don't work too well for cutting anything.
Well crap, there go my plans for digging up that old foundation. :D

Just wanted to confirm that I had a reservation in for a GSO 5 with orange (Though I would be quite happy with black as well) G10 bolted on handle. Did I make it in, or am I too late?

Yep, you are good to go. I'll have both so you can take your choice. You'll have one of only two if you do choose orange.

If you became a fan on the SURVIVE! facebook page, you did everything you need to do. On Christmas eve at midnight I'll draw a name from the fan pool to decide who will win the free GSO-5.
I liked you on Facebook. How do register for the drawing.

Your knives look amazing. I just sent an email to hopefully secure a GSO 5 (with black micarta).

Haha! You didn't mention the black micarta in your email but I've got you covered. Crazy, only about 20 more GSO-5's left to go around. Man they sure do go fast when I stop to count up all the emails. Thanks for the compliments. I hope to only make them better and better as time goes on.

Thanks a ton brother!! Can't wait to get my hands on the GSO-5:thumbup:

No worries! A word of warning though. It's a knife that begs to be used when it's in your hands. For all those wondering what the GSO stands for. It was first coined by my buddy and just stuck. "Make sure I'm one of the first to get my hands on a GSO" was his exact quote. It stands for Guy Seiferd Original. It flows well so I ran with it.

So when are we going to be able to buy these beautys? I got Christmas cash burnin' a hole in my pocket! Will it be through your website, or a paypal type transaction?

I'm trying to get things all wrapped up sometime this week but the details have been problematic and many. This being my first crack at it, I've learned a LOT along the way but some small stuff still needs ironed out. I still need to get some knives down to Kiah so he get make some magical looking sheaths for these workhorses. You are on the preorder list so you'll know for sure when they are done, I promise.

Thanks Guy. I just don't want to be gone for a few days (I travel for work) and come back to find out that I missed my chance to get one.:(

No way man! You are on the list. I'm good for my word and I'm not so short sighted that I would sell your knife out from under you. Be safe in your travels and have a very happy holiday.
