Good news for anyone who will be wanting one of the first prototypes. Check the first post in this thread for updated(lower) prices! For those of you who already paid me for a knife, you will get the difference in cash along with your knife. Shipping is still included with the price as well as a sheath made by Kiah. "What's wrong Guy, aren't they selling?" Interest in my knives is extremely high and knives are selling like crazy. People are loving the knives in fact. My problem is that these prototype knives have had the bevels completely ground by hand. It was done by Bark River and they are SHARP but with that being said, each one is still unique. I'm a detail oriented guy and the slight variations in grinding make me want to sell them for a little less. They are still Peter's treated 3V and they are every bit as nice as what you see in my videos. So if you are in the market, get ready to pick up a 3V knife CHEAP! This offer is for Blade Forums members only!

The balance of the remaining prototypes will be finished this coming week. Most of them will get shipped straight to Kiah www.kiahdex.com to have sheaths made for them. Those who emailed me already about knives will have their orders filled and the rest will be available for sale. So in less than three weeks most everything should be out in people's hands and I'll be turning all of my attention to the production run.
Can't wait! Any estimate of when these will be ready?

A small batch of sheaths are finished and are shipping back to me Tuesday. So people will be able to get an idea of what the whole package will look like by the end of this next week.
Hell yeah!
Off topic, but what do you guys think of my neck knife concept? I've not had a chance to render it yet but the drawing should give you a pretty good idea. The hex cut out will fit standard 1/4" driver bits. The handle area is skeletonized.

Make that out of 3V and I will absolutely buy one!:D

Looks good! Any plans in the future for an axe/hatchet?

CPM3V was my first thought but then I got to thinking some more. A little knife like this wouldn't really benefit from the shock resistance 3V brings to the table since it's too small to really beat on. But using CPM-M4 would give you a little chore knife with outstanding edge holding. I might be looking at using M390 for a stainless model.

@Equivet: I am looking at making a small hatchet in the future. It is just going to take time to get my name out there and get things rolling. To anyone out there reading this, if you like your knife when you get it please tell a friend.

Excellent news Guy! Really lookin' forward to seeing more pics and to finally get my hands on the GSO-5. Thanks buddy.

I like the fact that two of them do NOT have choils ;-)
Well you'll like this in the future then. I blended elements from several of my knife models. This will be a production 5" knife offering. Sorry I have not had a chance to render these designs yet.

Thanks for the email reply so quick. Can't wait .Would like to have the GSO-6 but I will settle for the GSO-5. Was looking forward to the Brovo 1.5 in 3V but cant pass up the great deal you are offering. Might even have to get the GSO-7 when it comes available.

Ok, all of the GSO-4's are finished up. I would be shipping them out today to have sheaths made but I can't reach Kiah at kiahdex.com If anyone knows, please tell me where Kiah has disappeared to? If you ordered a GSO-4 and would just like me to ship you your knife awhile, drop me an email and let me know. guy@survive-gear.com
