The Hinderer Anticipation Thread - What Are YOU Waiting for?

Thanks guys, the wharnie has quickly become one of my favorite XM grinds/blade shape. 9 times out of 10 my prod wharnie w/ pond goes in the pocket. So, for a while now I've thought that a DLC wharnie would be the next step - I don't think I was wrong :D This is a pretty killer version!

I'll try to throw together a quick family shot a bit later today. I _should_ be working on my master's thesis/last class rather than hanging out on the forums and taking pics of knives.. But, when it comes to school work, procrastination is my first, middle, and last name.. So, I think I'll find time to take a couple of pics (and my office will be spotless)..
 
Congrats on the black dlc wharnie man! Epic...that is something I realllly need to get my hands on eventually, some all black or all FDE dlc

Thanks! To me, the perfect iteration would be DLC (either black or FDE) lockside and a custom WF blade. I haven't seen that yet, but I _might_ have a FDE DLC frame w/ prod SW blade waiting on me ;)
 
Thanks! It's not a custom, but it is pretty sweet. Definitely something that's not seen very often...very exited!

I'm waiting on a Steel Flame LBS. For those that have one, how high off the scale does it sit (it doesn't appear to be flush). Also on the 3.5" in tip up the clip sits right in the LBS right? Do you have to bend the clip to get it to sit right?
 
Well, it looks like I'm joining in on the Gen 2 movement as well.


I've been on the fence the last month or two on collecting knives due to my other cue collecting addiction. There are laws going into effect that will ban ivory in the US. So, I plan on selling off some of my collection at a billiard expo next weekend and the weeks after.

Then I will re-focus my attention on production and custom Hinderers.

Plus the people here are fantastic.
 
CMD, you're going to love the Gen 2!! Cue collection, you'll be reeling in some dough from those for sure. It will effect all the inlaid versions of the knives as well. Interesting to see what happens.

Thanks guys. Im feeling much better now. Just put some pics up in the recent scores thread. Called in to work today so I should be able to take plenty more pics this afternoon. :)
