Ah, I was the "I really want it but shouldn't buy it so I'll wait a few days and stew about it until I decide that I want it enough to dip into the tax refund and risk the ire of the spouse" guy...

And luckily did that in time to score :) Of course, the wife doesn't know about it yet ;) (To her credit the most I probably risk is an eye roll, and "put it back in the account....")

Monkey Edge had a blue/black frag scale in stock. One is in the mail to replace a blue textured G10 on a XM-18 3.5" slicer.

Nice BT, do you know how Rick gets that color on the knife ? I always like the contrast between the black and white color, looks like it was made to be used hard.

BT, very nice snag! Can't wait to see some more pics when you have it.

This guy is waiting on some bronze Ti XM-24 standoffs!......to pop up in the exchange, that is ;) I found some on the green site, and they were unfortunately lost in the mail or something else. The guy refunded me my money no problem, but I was really hoping for the Standoffs!

AH DRAT!! I let my wife talk me into going to brunch and by the time we got back to the house the mailman came and went - leaving the dreaded orange slip in her wake… I wasn't expecting it until Monday since it was mailed from Canada only two days ago.. Perhaps I can catch it at the PO this afternoon...
 
Son of a gun!!! I hate having to wait til the next day or two :thumbdn: Maybe if you're lucky enough to track down the Postal worker :D
