THE Hollow Handle Knife Thread

THIS is obtrusive:

At least he is not using a leg tie down, but I just wonder where does the knife go when he sits?

This one's pretty wild:

Another hey, watch where you sit!::

This is a howler as well:

This probably needs a "keep a minimum distance" warning:

Or this:

I just love this one:

Also the deeply dropped ones with the leg ligature: Comfy!

That'll get you noticed:

Here is a smaller knife, but I just thought the orange handle on dark clothes was a nice touch:

I knew I could count on the Busse guys to help me out...

Gaston
Hey dude, you be careful. I see you tell people watch where they sit with these knife setups, but I worry if you slip and fall that spike will gore you, crack a rib, etc.

Gaston,

With your love for chopping with hollow handle knives, why not order a M.O.A. knife from Sam? This thing was designed for chopping and is everything you're looking for in a knife. Comes in stainless or carbon and truly built like a tank. Seems like a no brainer.

So carrying a knife on your belt is obtrusive but shuving a 9" blade knife in a sock sheath down your pants with the pointy tang pointed at your body is unobtrusive? Okay then. One day when we don't here from gaston for a while we can think back to these pictures and realize he likely impaled himself on a day hike when he fell. Sorry but that is a Terrible idea gaston. Change your thinking before you hurt yourself. Seriously.

I totally agree with that.. A stocking is one of the worst (and stupid, excuse me) ways I've ever seen to carry a knife..... Especially a knife of that size!! You know that exactly where you have the knife, passes one of the great arteries of the human body? The groin artery...

Gaston you really ought to be careful, you are in danger of eviscerating yourself when you pull your knife out of it's sheath when you carry it that way.

This is to update on the "collection": Quite a lot of paring down has gone on to get to this stage (My Lile "Mission" is the only "good" one missing here):

This is what the sheath set-ups typically look like under their socks:

And here is the new one I finally managed to snag, a Steve Voorhis "Rambo style", with my typical set up of two thermal blankets, 20+ feet of 550 rope, and one AAA flashlight hiding under the sheath's tip:

Some inspiration from this perhaps?
Watch from 1:55.
Sadly Mr Stallone didn't have time to grab a sock.

Ian.

Semi-large knife ....in a sock..along with blankets, flashlights and paracord...stuffed into ones pants.....!

I assume its a joke.

Hark advice, Gaston - quit while you are ahead or you might hurt yourself, if you stumble and fall carrying that knife at your groin.

Attach the sheath to your belt.

Not even sock puppet can condone your carry method...

I can't tell if this is real or not, but it seems that wearing a waistpack or small daypack with the knife and accessories in it would make much more sense.

These kind of idiotic posts are why I quit posting in the thread, tube sock wrapped in the pants, grind the edge down and bitch, good grief.

I will continue to carry a knife on my belt along with a pistol and simply not be concerned with other's views. If someone is bothered by it ...well thats just too bad.

Personally I wouldn't go using other folks pics without permission either. Just rude.

Well said.

Sock-wrapped knife stored in the pants.
Destroy a blade made by a pro, and complain the blade is no good.
Continue to post things that are so obviously not right in this thread.

Were I a doctor, I might diagnose you as a masochist Gsdton...

Ok, try to bring this (great) thread in the right way.. I know this is not a super giant Rambo knife, but this little Aviator (4" blade) is an excellent EDC blade for precision work

Hahahahhahaha Gaston you are hilarious.
Were you bullied by someone with the last name Busse in school?
You always find a way to try and slight Busse/kin knives and their fans.
Meanwhile you walk around with this in your pants 😂😂😂
And then tell us how unobtrusive is!!!
Hey, can we get a video of you sitting down with that?
Awesome, thank goodness no one takes you seriously

Here's the part that shows just how creepy this guy is.

Gaston, you either
A: sat there on google and searched out pictures SPECIFICALLY of Busse/Kin in sheaths, (aside from the Gso and one Esee), which is strange enough since this was a thread about hollow handled knives.

Or, the REALLY CREEPY OPTION

B: you already had all these images saved up.

Which is it Gaston, do you have a serial killer-like wall of hate full of Busse knives? 😂😂😂😆

Tell you what, I'll stop making fun of you when you stop trolling the Busse or Survive forum, deal? Or am I on your wall too? 😂😖😖
