THE Hollow Handle Knife Thread

Things are slow in here, probably with the nicer weather. Anyone have any HH knife updates to share? Me, I'm still waiting on my Greg Wall....

Can you give some info
On Greg wall please. I'm using an iphone and it won't let me access his website

Thanks

Arc, Greg Wall is best known for his version of the Randall 18, although he makes other styles as well, including other HH knives. From everything I could find, quality is top-notch and fit/finish beautiful. I like the fact that he has offered his model 18 with a crutch-tip cap like the early Randalls, although I opted for the brass cap.

Thanks Bowie that's appreciated. Do you have contact details for him I would like a no. 18 style knife

Thanks

Thanks guys. Martin Knives was an absolute pleasure to deal with when I ordered mine. I've had it out a few times and it's a great performer the 154 CM just seems to cut and cut.

My interaction with Andrew Clifford was very positive also and am excited to get this knife in the field. Have had over the years: Buckmaster, Reeve project I and 4 Randall 18's in various configurations. Have sold or traded them all except for these two.IMG_0300.jpg You can see the Reeve in the pic along with a couple of friends.

These two are definitely keepers.

Here are some hollow handle swords,we made these a couple of years ago.

Hi Guys. I normally just look around on here and never post but I thought I'd share this with you guys. I am a long time survival knife fan and own a lot of them from Jack Crains, Chris Reeves, Newt Martins and on down. I recently bought one of the Boker Apparos to play with and was pleasantly surprised at how nice this $125 knife is. Except for the sheath, that is. I guess I'm kinda anal but I just cannot own a knife with a crappy sheath. I contacted Frank Landau over at C4 industries about making me a couple of sheaths for it and I got them in today and they're awesome, as Franks sheaths usually are. I don't feel like I'm the only person out there who is particular about a knife having a good sheath so I thought I'd let you guys know about these. Don't let the crappy sheath that comes with the Boker hold you back from buying the knife. Frank will make you one (or two!) in your choice of color to make it custom to you. I also have one of these he made me for a Buckmaster 184 and I love it too. And for those who know nothing about Franks sheaths, the Kydex is lined inside the sheath so your blade doesn't get the scratches that can sometimes come from using Kydex sheaths. Anyway, hope you like them and here's a link to his site. And by the way, that's a true Newt Martin Apparo with the tan cord handle so Frank's sheath will work with it as well as the Boker version but Newt's knife comes with a very high-quality Sheppard leather sheath (shown below) so it's definitely not a necessity but it's still nice to have options. Be well guys.

This is the first time posting in here but I love hollow handle knives. They remind me of when I was a kid down at the creek, I was always the kid in the group that had the survival knife. I have a couple of them. Keep this thread going.
