I've used soap & water a few times on my Camel Thorn with no ill effect. I just don't leave it soaking. It would have even less effect on a wood that's heavily stabilized, since it's resin infused.

A large Mnandi would be nice, but I'm not holding my breath.

I was also worried about the wood inlays, and I ended up with a carbon fiber mnandi for that reason so that’s an option also. I’d be interested to see a picture of a micarta mnandi but the carbon does what I need. Since then I’ve gotten a wood mnandi and wood Sebenza and they seem to hold up just fine but I don’t use those hard. I have read several places that they can make fine users if you don’t soak them as others said.

Large mnandi sized between large and small Sebenza? Plain and inlay options? Sign me up! We can dream at least.

I was considering a carbon fiber for a while as well, I just never seem to encounter one when I have the money
 
You know what really grinds my gears?

When people buy a knife off site for a price, and then turn around and put a $350 mark up on it and post it here for sale. Must think "Oh, they'll never know!"

Yeah... that REALLY drives me up the wall.

This latest MEFP drop has been fun to watch people pay those prices. It will keep happening if guys keep buying sadly.
 
While I agree and sympathize, price policing is a violation of the rules of the Exchange. Sellers can ask what they will. Members are free to ignore those who mark up the prices in a predatory fashion and refuse to do business with them when they post sales.
 
Remember that CRK blade that UPS lost in the mail a few years back, on my birthday no less? Well I finally worked up the nerve to tell the folks at CRK what happened. I had nothing but exceptional service. They agreed to reblade it for their fee. I am so happy and thrilled with the customer service that I received and will NOT be shipping blades out for sharpening again. Haha!

Thank you to the whole CRK team!! Especially Matt and Tim. Lucky me ended up with a Magnacut blade in a 21. 😱

I know it was a long and stressful process but I am glad it worked out for you. I would love to have a Magnacut 21 and I am patiently waiting for them to do some reblades in the future.

Even though you’ve had it once, when you get it back, it’s like a new knife.

I hear ya, A!
It’s like loosing a knife, then finding it again! And somehow got cooler while it was lost.

I know it’s just a plain jane…but I like all my CRK’s equally. 😁🤣😂
 
I get that the Ultem isn't for everyone (me included), but no one ever says brown Micarta/G10 is poop colored 🤷‍♂️

Personally I'm excited to check out the new clip. I hope when they finally release them they have enough for everyone, not like a "go get it now" Instagram announcement then they're sold out for the next few months. Being that they're MIM large runs should be able to be produced pretty quickly.
