Welcome to BFCWell, just placed orders today for 3 knives. Now to get comfortable in the 4-5 year wait and remember the configurations I ordered so I don’t buy them in the mean time![]()

I plan to be there. I wouldn't mind adding a Backpacker at table price. With Blade Show 2025 a little over 2 months away, I have been trying to decide whether or not to plan a trip to Atlanta. Has anyone heard any buzz about this year’s offerings, or just any CRK news in general?
In past years, I’ve enjoyed being able to swing by the CRK table because they are all awesome, down to earth folks who will take time to answer questions or chat about their knives.
Anyone else planning to go this year?

It is sort of a non issue yes but TBH, CRK should have addressed and fixed it already. They are known for their tight machining after all.
True, the MIM clip is mighty tight when the knife is closed but this couldbe because it has little flex. I would bend it if it wasn't because I'm sure of that it will snap in the process.Mine does the same thing. I don't think it is as much of an "address and fix" situation as it is "nature of the beast". I don't think the new clip is as flexible as the old stamped one...when it is in a position to provide good retention and rest against the lockbar when the knife is closed, it doesn't travel as much as the lockbar when the knife is open and "floats" a little bit. I'm sure you could probably bend it tighter and eliminate it, but for me it is already borderline too tight as-is on some pants.
