The King gets remodeled

This thing looks amazing so far. I really like the shape of the handle. Very good job!

The shape of the blade has been changed and the polish is actually a satin finish. So far the finish is done with 400 wet or dry backed by an aluminum sanding block. I will complete the satin finish with 600 and the rub it with black compound on a wood backed leather strip.

The roughed out handle and nickel silver guard. There is more fitting and sanding that needs to be done prior to permanent attachment of the handle and guard.

Awesome stuff HH. You could make a living doing this stuff. ;)

Thanks fellow Becker men for your kind words. Customizing Becker knives and Cold Steel tomahawks has bee a great form of relaxation for me now that I am finally "retired". Working on my house(ongoing honey do list) does get in the way of my hobbies. I have also designed a series of 9" and 10" blade choppers/fighters based on this remodeled BK-9. I do need some machine tools to get some really good results.

Apsolutly gorgeous, please continue to produce things like that, you will have the long list of buyers for sure.

amazing stuff, hawk. Glad you went with the walnut! seriously rocking blade.

I luv this great job!! Thx for sharing this I like seeing the WIP pics makes the finished product that much better.

Ok I haven't been on here in a bit because I just moved and this is the first thing I see. Good work
