The King gets remodeled

I am truly grateful to all of you for looking and commenting. The Fighting 9 can now take its place in the line of customizing projects. I have designed and drawn my next projects; they will be made "from scratch" as fighters and choppers. I still have one more BK9 project to do first.

Excellent remodelling of The King. So good it's got me looking at buying a 2nd hand BK9 to have a go myself. Great work.

Warrior, RoyalM, DJG097, Thank you fellow Becker enthusiasts for your kind comments.
This is a preview of my first custom knife which will be started soon.

This is absolutely beautiful, I love it, I need it, I want it, how much? :D

In all seriousness, I know you couldn't part with it, but thank you for sharing your amazing work, and I can't wait to see your own completed designs.

Thank you for your comments. The Becker enthusiasts in Australia do some amazing modifications to your knives. There are many custom knife makers there as well doing some of the finest work any where.

My god. Astonishing work. The result is really beautiful.

How did you "fill in the holes" on the tang, if I may ask?

Hey Mr. Hawkhead.......

What an honor you do me and my knives by taking them to a level of beauty I certainly never contemplated or, frankly, could conceive of when I started.........I am awed, gratified, amazed and thankful .....WOW.......

Holy mackerel!!! I am honored Mr. Becker to receive such praise from the father of these great knives which I enjoy customizing and using. For every one I have reworked I have at least one more stock version which my wife and I use mostly for food prep and grilling. Your original handle designs for the large and small knives are still the most comfortable out there.
Customizing your knives has enabled me to make the leap to designing and crafting my own series of small hunters. Thank you sir for providing the impetus for my move into the world of knifemaking.

Hi Maethor, Thank you for your kind comments.
Soft soldered steel inserts into cutouts. Heat sink the blade and work fast and no cold joint. How will it stand up to real world use? I don't know, but this knife was not meant to be a beater or heavy use knife.

I'm betting that Mr Becker doesn't say this very often.
That is some really good work.

Thank you Protourist and Spydercobenchmadekai. When Mr. Becker posted his comments about my work, I was and still am flabbergasted. Knife making has taken a backseat to healing my reinjured shoulder. Right now slow progress is the rule for me, although I am designing and drawing.
Merry Christmas to everyone and hopefully there are many Beckers under the tree.

Thanks for kicking this back up, absolutely amazing job!
I love it when people see a completely different knife in the steel they own and hae the skill and devotion to make it reality.
Great work!

Hope you heal up soon bro.

Second here. Thanks for the bump. No clue how I missed this the first time. Stunning work you've done there, hawkhead. Great vision and great craftsmanship. You've inspired me to get back to work on a few from my back burner. Thanks!
