Congrats hokie, you lucky s.o.b., and thanks krissig for the genorous giveaway. I was already planning how I was going to trick out the 566 once I won it but what do you do.
So I've got this mini grip thats seen at most 2 weeks of use. It just sits in my knife box for months at a time. Its a decent knife, but I didn't realise how much I disliked small blades until I got it. So I'm going to quit hoarding it and pass it along to someone who might use more than twice a year.
No rules on who can enter. I'll end it friday.
Full disclosure: there is some blade play. I'm just to lazy to send it in to benchmade. So if it bothers you that much I'm sure their waranty department would fix it right up. (I mean Its the least you could do for a free knife:D)

So now come the real questions.......

Would you like me to ship it with the sprig assist re installed, or just leave it in the box so you have the option? It flips like a dream without it
And should I put the original lock bar stabilizer back on? Or should I leave the 9mm casing bottom that I fashioned myself and put on in its place? It works very well, but you might not like the looks, so I can include the original in the box as well. Is that good for you?

DONT count me in, though. I have far too many knives to feel alright winning this one when there's so many others here who would show it more love.
 
ill be in on this one too gf needs a small blade, shes got a paraframe right now and i want to upgrade her

I love the bullet casing and yes I think I would like the spring assist installed. Thanks again...I can't wait! You totally made my day.

I BEG you to try it without the assist.:D

It's none of my business what you do with the knife, but trust me. It's just as easy to flip without the spring, but you can also open it slowly and feel the glass smooth action (seriously, it's smoother than my sebenza :eek:).....you also won't get the annoying rattle that comes along with the spring assist....
Please just try it deassisted. If you don't like it for whatever reason, the spring will be in the box with VERY simple directions on how to put it back in.

Some of the 0566s were bad when deassisted, but this one is AMAZING:thumbup:

That's cool. No one knows this knife better than you. I had no specific reason to have you put it back on other than the fact it came that way. Thanks for setting me straight:D. I cant wait to get my hands on it. Thanks again.

It really is a great knife deassisted, provided that you have the push button flipper technique down.

Is this your first flipper?
