It looks fine to me. Just do what you prefer, there's no rules to making lanyards. Lately I've been using leather lanyards. They give the knife some serious "vintage" mojo! However, I still like paracord too.

Does anyone have any idea why when I try and post a for trade thread the page suddenly stops working? I've probably tried to post the same thread about 15 times with no success. Everything else on the forum works, but suddenly when I go to submit the thread it's unresponsive. Now I'm worried that when I wake up all 15 threads will have gone through haha. I guess I'll just have to try back tomorrow.

Yeah that was nothing to do with anything but is pretty funny if you ask me. Threads can time out like that when there is high traffic.
 
UGH, all I wanna do is get rid of this damn Hogue! I swear I'm going to die with this knife haha.
(not to discourage anyone who reads my WTT post should they ever go through)
Now I've got the itch for a sprint pm2, but I just can't justify buying one right now. The basic satin/ black g10 one I currently have is missing a stand off screw, and I'm just too lazy to contact spyderco.
 
Hmm, my small insingo Sebenza was estimated to be delivered today via USPS but it was a no show. The tracking was last updated Saturday...I'm hoping it shows up tomorrow and isn't hanging out in 'lost package land'. :rolleyes:
 
Hate it when that happens. I had a mini grip just drop off the radar for about a week, and when I called usps they assured me that they rarely screw up. That was my first bad experience with them, so I didn't know what to believe. Bladehq was patient with me and assured me that this was unfortunately quite normal. Now I just expect the usps to screw up, and they wonder why everybody is switching to other means of shipping.
I feel for you though. If that had happened to my sebenza I'd be going postal.

Blues- Those lanyards look great. I like the leather effect.
 
Wolf- What city in Croatia are you from? That's a beautiful country. When I was still in the Navy my ship pulled into Split, Croatia. We took a 2 hour bus ride to the mountains for an all day white water rafting tour....did a little cliff diving. It was a great time. I met some of the nicest people there.

Krissig- I'm still rocking the ZT everyday and lovin' it. I was going to post a pic but didn't want to cause you any regret :) this thing is awesome.

Ugh, didn't come today either and still no tracking updates...darn you lost package land!!
 
Well I was finaly able to get my trade thread through. Aparently I was trying to use just a few to many characters, so I trimmed a couple sentences off and vwa la!
 
USPS tracking is worthless..it usually shows out for delivery the day after you get it. I know the waiting is killing you.
 
Today was another hiking day:thumbup:

With my ESEE 4 and lil stabby in hand, I headed out for what I hoped would be a fun hike. Unfortunately it was a rainy day and not very nice out. We're getting hit with a storm here in SoCal at the moment. But it didn't cloud over or start raining until AFTER I had gotten to the hiking place, so I ended up doing it in a t shirt:rolleyes:

Oh well, still fun. I found some new trails today...


Went across the stream and climbed the side of the hill for a better view, then realized that there were trails up there that went even further up....

View from the top of the ridge line. It was pretty sweet being able to see the whole layout of the place. Before then I had only ever been on the main trail you see going down the middle of the canyon

I keep forgetting to get glam shots of the knives while I'm hiking...... Meh, maybe next time;)
