The Knife Life (Minor Topics and Random Stuff Thread)

my uni doesnt care, i carry the 0566 and 770 clipped on pockets no issue

shopping around for knives for butchering deer, from skinning to table, any reccomendations

About the campus discussion, I've used my traditionals to cut food or open a vent on a coffee lid and that type of stuff before. I carry a OHO most of the time clipped too, never had a problem.

We bought my college bound sister a customized pink mini grip. She usually keeps it in her purse though.

Just carry it in your pocket. No clip, no problem.

Come on John, you know me better than that ;) Who you tellin? Ole no clip, no problem lookin'

Ole no clip strikes again! Beautiful!

When dealing w stuff like that, I'm of the same mindset. What others don't know about won't concern em.

The small insingo Sebenza I sold helped fund an SNG that's supposed to be here tomorrow - will post pics when it arrives. Nothing special but...pics never hurt right? :)

Haha you got me there, Harris! And I love what you've done with that filler tab. Hope your night is going great.

@fetzer, I have to back Anty and say that pics are always a plus.

That knife is quite the looker!

Ive gotta disagree with no clip carry though, except for manual knifes with a strong detent. I wouldnt ever want to risk a nasty cut because my blade opened just a little in my pocket.

I do however, use a lot of assisted openers, and emersons...

Ole no clip! The knife equivalent of ole peg leg, yarrr. Thanks John, Will, SadSappySucker, stonproject, and rutha73.

A non-issue on Sebenzas. They have a very strong detent. Kind of a catch 22 though, because CRK has arguably one of the best pocket clips! I clip my Insingo, but the CF Damascus Sebenza's light weight and slim profile lend itself to loose carry very well.

Thanks John my night was actually good. I lost my fever and my voice. Only downside is I can't talk shit now! How about yours man? Thanks on the tab, you know I anodized it nearly 5 months ago and it's only taken on the one scratch on the timascus pattern?

SadSappySucker, where do you go to school?

Gwinnett tech. It's pretty much on the corner where 316 and sugarloaf intersect. You?
Thank god I'm only doing a half day a week this semester. Most of the class is on line. Well today was the first day my sebenza saw a classroom. I just couldn't leave it in my car, because my window is pretty much stuck open about an inch. I get paranoid in more populated areas.

Been in Vegas since yesterday.....I'll try to get more (and better) pics later today

Got the essentials

Have you won any new Sebenza money? As long as your sebenza is still in your pocket when you leave you're a winner!
