Razoredgeknives did an AMAZING job with lil stabby. She's JUST below tree topping sharpness level, but the edge was catching on the hair as it passed:thumbup::cool:

Lil stabbies! Awesome man, the box elder looks great. Congrats! Good to see you getting more CRKs. RazorEdgeKnives is an animal on his sharpening and regrind game, that plain Jane of yours looks mean.

I don't think you understand the degree to which I'm struggling to not buy another CRK till BLADE. My favorite shop now also has XM-18s in stock, which I'm not going to lie, might break me.

Loving the box elder! I'm also glad to see you're not afraid to mar up that beautiful new edge. It would be hard for me.
Zeta, so do you know of any stores that have CRK in stock? I checked their web sight and only found one dealer near Savannah.

No, but if I was going to, it'd be ebony wood or snakewood with Damascus. If I sell a watch and a knife for the XM, does it still count??

I'm just messin, man. I would gladly try out a hinderer if they weren't so damn expensive on the secondary market......


But from what I hear, they're also a major step down in terms of fit and finish from CRK.

So.............meh:)

Hah, I know man, no worries. I'm not so sensitive! I've heard mixed reviews about that, but we'll see. My SnG'S F&F is miles behind my CRK but, it also has some redeeming qualities that keep it near and dear to me, and my pocket.

Someday I'll probably get a strider. But right now, I'm just too happy with what I've already got to start buying anything else:p

A PT would be nice though. Provided of course that I could find one without any serious issues.....

The thing I don't like about the PT is that the amount of choil you get makes the useable blade that is left, useless. The Strider 3/4 and FFG just don't do well in that size IMO. The SnG is as small as I'll go with that huge choil. PTs however, almost NEVER show up with lock rock. I hear you on purchasing man, that's why I did this whole no new knives crap. I want many, but I needed to stop buying them to score my grail watch and I've done that now, so the blade thirst is back!

That's the only store I know of that has them, the one in Savannah. Bummer, I know.

Oh yeah, I sold my Protech CQC-7A w/ CF also.... :ambivalence:

Yeah, I've always kinda wondered why Stiders came with such HUGE choils..... But I figure it's kinda proportional, so I'd rather carry a smaller knife with a bad blade to handle ration than a larger knife with bad blade to handle ratio.
 
Wow! You all have some nice blades! I am happy right now with my lowly Benchmades and Spydies. Really liking the mini grip! (Thanks Sadsappy sucker!) I like the fact that it has more hand filling scales than the Delica. I think I would be afraid to use something as expensive as a CRK:eek: But they sure are fun to see in all the pics!

And man, I really liked that Protech. I only saw you post it once. I really dig his designs with the bolsters.

And I'm glad someone is getting some use out of that mini grip.
