  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

So I was looking around online and I can see why Uncle E built the Machax off a classic WWII design. The WWII U.S. Army CASE XX Machete Ethan had, the WWII German Luftwaffe Survival Machete, and the 1909 US Issue Bolo Knife are three of my favorite machete designs.

There's already a sequel. It's called something else, don't remember what though. I heard about it on Stern a couple weeks ago.

Just remembered, Sharknado 2: The Second One

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends!! Just got back in town... We got rained on, the car broke down at the camp, finally found a blown fuse and got it back running, then the fuse just kept popping and there a short somewhere, but we were able to get it home! Turned out a good trip despite the hiccups.

Went through a town called Beckerville too..... pretty cool!

Agreed. Even then, it was 15 minutes wasted. It's a shame, because the original is such a great movie.

Because of the wet summer, the pecan trees are overloaded, and all three trees in my yard have been self-pruning from the weight.
Have had 4 big limbs come down in a week. I need an M-18 to chop them up. Stat!

Just sittin' around thinking I might need a new stove. You know, just in case.
Gus, I'm going to go over to Yazoo and see if I can't pick you up a sampler six-pack before the Gathering.

Might cause a sink hole. Wouldn't want to risk it.

True. The earth might wobble and spill my beer. The horror.

Saw this at REI:
