So you're saying you WEREN'T a gunfighter? No no no, see that's where you took the bait. Does this all the time, that one.
"Oh yeah it's under the stage name I used back when I was a gunfighter."
The gatherings used to be lousy with random statements like that, from not just him but a goodly amount of the others as well. Ridiculous how many diverse backgrounds and experiences would show up and casually drop those sorts of comments. Hilarious too...
was it a fight if nary a cross word ever passed my lips?...So you're saying you WEREN'T a gunfighter?
I believe this to be perfection of the art: where the stick becomes the metaphor, the fight the internal struggle...Kali, European Quarterstaff, Bo, Bataireacht. It seems they pin lots of names on stick fighting depending on where you look.
I'ld rather drape a line and hook from the end of a stick, and soak it.
HERE, HERE!!Happy Friday, all. Let’s kick this day in its ass and start the weekend!
Well alrighty! Kansas checks in, glad to see the package got there whole - sorry about pre-drinking the Heady. Might take another day or two for Jonny's to get all the way to the left coast...hopefully intact, as well. Vik, I'd love to know what you think of the Aerstone - I've had their Sea Cask, which is not peated, so...tasting notes, please.
I've had the Maclelland malt - good for the price. Thank you for the notes!interesting - the nose is sweet with peaty smoke and a touch of iodine.
very mild alcohol burn. smoke on the tongue along with some other flavors I can't think of words to describe, followed by a long, slow, lingering smoky finish with a hint of caramel in it
has some pretty good legs on the glass as well - takes it a bit for the lees to work their way back to the bottom of the glass.
all in all, it's a similar flavor profile to my memory of the Maclelland's Islay without the harsh burn. (which is a very young and mild version of an island scotch)
We had our dose of rain down here on Thursday. It'll be back by Tuesday next.Getting an overdose of much needed rain and a good snowpack . A nice change for Ca.
Dang, I need to get to the beach and set out the long rods. Have a little fire. Enjoy a meal and the day.I believe this to be perfection of the art: where the stick becomes the metaphor, the fight the internal struggle...
...of finding fish to do the struggling.
DunkEm knows this.
Ridiculously warm and humid here today. I miss winter. Or even a decent autumn.Snowing big ol' wet flakes here now.The wife and I just got back from going for a ride. I love the snow.
Dunk, I felt this. I have a new phone and it was a little more of an ordeal to get logged back into Imgur, get the link and post a picture just now than I care to admit.and learn how to post pictures from this new phone
or maybe that worked

Yeah, if you cut them off they'll photobucket your ass faster than I used to collect warnings in the traditional subforum.I have ADHD - so this has always been the case for me. I understand the tech just fine, but do it so infrequently it's like I'm learning it all over again....s l o w l y . And now, I can't stop paying for Flickr - lest all of my old photos disappear from their posts, leaving only text...
I don't remember where you are at TD, but if it's California, put in your life vest. They are getting all kinds of wet out there. If this present rain storm continues across the country, ya'll need to brace up.
